Small, powerful, not loud on high
Wish I'd done this years ago to save time crawling around on the bed, save my bad back. Home use, one dog, not professional groomer. Unit is small but mighty. Even on highest air speed setting, not as loud as I expected. In fact, my wimpy hair dryer was far more annoying, buh bye. I usually brush out my German Shedder prior to bath, but this time decided to dry blow him out with this new dryer. Sand storm and Furmageddon ensued, but that much less in suds hair grit going down the drain. After bath and towel dry, up on the bed, on the waterproof quilt topper. Happy hoodie on too. Unit on, water banished! He was dry and fully floofy in 20 minutes, no backache. And no need to blowdry with one hand and rake with the other, so much easier. Dry, quick, efficient. Hallelujah. Hose length great, it gets more stretchy as it warms up. Most of the hose gets warm (not hot) due to air friction compressed at the nozzle. The insulated bit at the handle stays neutral.

Makes drying my Golden Retriever so much less painful (for us both)!
My dog has a lot of long hair and loves to get wet, dirty and gross. Usually he dries okay from the rain or puddles with a a good rub down of old towels and then air drying. When the time comes that he needs a bath- which is more often than you'd think- I usually start playing the mental calculation game of how long it will take to dry him, do we really need to go through that, etc. He loves the bath and loves getting blow dried BUT it takes a solid 10 minutes to towel dry him (and let him snowplow all over the floor and roll around on his back). Then I have to get my personal hairdryer out and the brushes and prepare myself to sit there on the floor with him for at least 45 minutes of blow drying him only to achieve a state of "well- he's dry enough that he wont leave puddles where he lays and he won't soak the sofa when he walks by". My goal is to get him dry enough that he won't get hot spots and he he'll finish air drying a few hours later. One day we were were camping by a lake and a neighbor let their 2 Golden Retrievers (just as big and bushy as mine) out to swim. I felt like a terrible dog mom because I didn't let mine as I didn't want to deal with a sopping and soggy dog in an rv and probably my car the next day. With a smile and a shake of my head I told the couple that they were braver and better than me for letting their pups have fun in the water. The wife laughed and said, "nah we're just prepared!" With that they took out a dog dryer from the camper storage compartment, plugged it in and got to work. She told me that I didn't need to spend a fortune just look for the highest horsepower I could find in my price range and of course check the reviews. So I did and here I am- happy as a clam! I've had it a couple of weeks now and I've used it more than I ever thought I would! The first bath was wonderful and my dog was in about 30 minutes. I have to say it cuts down the drying time by at least 50% but probably more like 75% to that of my personal hairdryer. It's not discernibly louder, it is adjustable on blowing force and heat or no heat. The heat is probably equivalent to a human hairdryer on low-medium. It blows the water right off of him and it actually sprays the floor with water droplets. The best thing is that it gets so in there with the air that it makes it so easy to find random ticks that imbed deep into his undercoat. On night last my dog decided to stick his face into a new bag of cat food as we were unpacking and repacking groceries into the pantry. Before we could get to him I swear he mustve eaten a pound if he ate a bite. Well, that next night he ended up getting the worst upset stomach and number 2 (or is it number 3) episodes that required me to hose off his backside and wash him outside- I plugged this dryer in outside and he was dry in 10 minutes (only his hind quarters needed drying). It paid for itself that night. Anyway, I don't know why I waited so long to get one. It's so powerful I plan on also using it to blow all the dog hair out of my car with it. It comes with lots of attachments and is a super fair price for what you get.

This company rocks
I’m super impressed with the EGFKI Dog Hair Dryer! This thing is a beast – dries my pup's thick fur way faster than anything I’ve tried before. The power is awesome, but you can also adjust the speed, which is nice for more delicate areas. The heat feature is a huge bonus, especially for those chilly days, and it’s actually quieter than I expected, so my dog isn’t scared of it. Plus, it comes with a bunch of nozzles, which makes it easy to target different spots. Honestly, it’s been a total time-saver and makes grooming at home a breeze. Highly recommend if you're looking for something reliable and powerful!

Press is prefect
Well I waited to write a review till I used a few time today I did my golden retriever, golden doodle, and a cavapoo. I love the pressure it has and the warming works great. To do their faces I turned it down and it worked wonderfully. I was doing self wash stations to do my dogs 2 x a week. This will have me lots of $$ and the dogs are more comfortable. The blow is quite then the ones I used at pet store but it has just as much power. Will buy again and tell my friends all about it.

Good for home, not the best for salons
This is actually not a bad hair dryer but is probably intended more so for home use than professional salon use. I bought two for my salon and the groomers said they didn't dry quick enough. If you compare this dryer's specs to some of the ones made for pro use, they stack up on paper. However, it can't keep up with something like the Flying Pig One (in purple) as far as force and speed. It seems to be pretty durable. It isn't quiet, but I have never seen one that is. If you want a temp solution for salon use, it might work. If you plan to use it professionally then make sure you know your local codes/ laws before you buy. I got cited by the NYC board of health because this dryer has a heater on it and that violates the health code. This dryers specs, strength and quality make it a great at home dryer or quick fix for salons who need something that is affordable and arrives quickly. However, I highly recommend it for personal at home use.

Good product
It has a lot of power. It does an excellent job of blowing out my husky and German shepherd dry time is cut in half plus I'm sure it'll help lessen the husky hair balls I have around my house.
