Title: Motorola's Baby Monitor - A No-Fuss, Reliable Eye in the Sky or wall as it maybe
Very durable and dependable. great battery life and range . The screen is weird and chunky but this unit hasn't let us down and its been over a year. it built like a tank and just works, highly recommend. Right out of the box, this gadget is ready to roll. No fiddly bits, no lengthy setups. It's plug-and-play, quite literally, which is exactly what you want when there's a tiny human to tend to. The monitor, sleek as a seal and just as smart, provides a crystal-clear view of your bundle of joy. It pans and tilts with a smoothness that's almost cinematic, though it won't do the full 360-degree spy-movie sweep – a bit of a miss if you're aiming to see every corner of the nursery. For the tech-savvy folks, the app is a cinch – zap the QR code, and you're in control from the palm of your hand. It's got bells and whistles too – lullabies, temperature readings – it's like having a nanny at the press of a button. Mounting it on the wall is as easy as pie, and it sticks like a barnacle. But the cord's a smidge short for my liking. You might want to get creative with your placement or scout for an extension. Nighttime is where this monitor shines – the night vision is clear enough to spot a diaper change at twenty paces. And if your little one peeps, the LED lights dance like a soundboard, giving you a visual heads-up if you're tiptoeing around with the volume down. There's a beep that cries foul if the camera loses its lifeline to power, so you won't be caught off guard. And while it did throw a brief tantrum losing connection once, it wasn't enough to write home about. All told, Motorola's offering here is a sturdy, dependable choice for any parent looking to keep a watchful eye on their tyke. It doesn't quite have the eagle's all-seeing gaze, but what it does, it does well. Would I recommend it? You betcha.

Subscription Model...
We bought this camera two years ago. It has a huge amount of flaws. The monitor quality is terrible and difficult to use. The app is buggy, doesn't load, constantly crashes, doesn't save, and again, image quality is horrible. If you had asked me six months ago what I thought about it: I still would've told you it was worth every penny. In fact, we have a second kiddo on the way, so we were even considering getting another. Flash forward to today: Motorola dropped a REQUIRED subscription on the device. You can't see past recordings without paying money. You can't do ANYTHING without paying money other than watch the live stream. Every video recording we had is now locked behind a pay wall. The device has become a complete, useless BRICK. Screw Motorola, and DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT. You've been warned

Works great, but design flaw.
This product works as expected. No issues with picture quality or function. The problem is the lights on cameras and monitor. The cameras have blue lights on in the back. They are very bright, so if you’re trying to keep you baby’s room dark, then you will need to find a way to cover the night. I used an opaque sticker. The monitor has a light on it as well than cannot be turned off while the monitor is on.

Great monitor
First purchase one of the cameras was faulty. Exchanged it for a new one and it works great. Range is pretty far too.

Great camera, limited vision
General overview: This is an excellent camera choice if you’re wanting to monitor anything or anyone who isn’t mobile yet, or keep an eye on large rooms like garages or playrooms. It is NOT optimal for keeping track of individuals who are mobil as the camera is limited in its movement and ability to zoom out. Pros: -Good picture quality -Decent inferred -Really long charging cords for more creative setup -Really solid material used Cons: -The camera only moves a little in each direction and the camera moves painfully slow -You can see both screens at once but they’re cropped to both be viewed at once so you don’t see everything -Each time you want to switch screens you have to go through like 3 steps so you can’t switch between screens quickly This really is a good item, I just have very active kids who move around quickly and this just isn’t convenient for that. If you want a good option for large spaces though this would work great.

The worst monitor of all time
If I could give this monitor zero stars I would. We have tried several monitors over the years and this is by far the worst monitor I e come into contact with. We’ve used cheap travel monitors that are more user friendly and less infuriating. It won’t hold a charge (we’ve have it for a month and it already doesn’t hold a charge), it’s bulky, outdated, and all around terrible. We switched to this monitor because I wanted a regular hand held monitor with a phone app/WiFi option. It does accomplish both of those things but I dislike it so much I will be purchasing a different monitor. I would return it if we still had the packaging but instead it’s $200+ down the drain. Don’t buy this monitor!!

Small field of view
I was excited to consolidate two monitors onto one unit. I unpacked the two cameras and monitor. Everything was simple to use. I set up the camera in our nursery that is not a small room. I had to place the camera in the far corner away from the crib to be able to see the whole crib. I used an Arlo baby cam that was able to get the whole room and the crib. Tried this product because the Arlo baby cams are discontinued. I am disappointed that Motorola wouldn't think of a large field of view for a baby monitor. Definitely make that a consideration before purchasing. Otherwise, picture was clear the concept is great just poor execution.
