I saw this product used on a YouTube channel, the tech used it to piece back together a housing for an expensive chainsaw housing that had gotten run over and shattered. So looked the url up and ordered it. Arrived the next day, tried it out on a shattered storage bin lid, used the zig-zag staples to stitch it together. Makes a very good repair, stiffens the lid right up. Have other storage bins with cracked lids, I'll save considerably not having to replace whole bins just for lid damage. What you get with this model is the gun, a bunch of trial sized bags of staples of different sizes, each could do a couple of jobs depending on configuration needed, a short set of instructions, a snap-off tip utility knife, a non-flush-cutting pair of diagonal cutters and a storage box with it all crammed in there. You will want a pair of flush cutting dikes, can be had at big box stores, Harbor Freight and of course Amazon. The staples heat up ReallyFast, can melt through thin stuff fast so you get a hole, not a mend. I've also used the hot staples to kind of weld across the surface of cracks in addition to fastening with the staples. I consider this a good purchase and addition to the fix-it tools. Just ordered a box of zig-zag staples from Amazon, ran about a penny apiece, arrived next day So readily available.
