La Sportiva Women's OXYGYM Climbing Shoe

I'm a complete beginner (climbing 1-2x a week for 4 months now). I bought these so as to avoid constantly getting hit by rental fees. They fit true to size. I wear a size 7 in most street shoes, size 7.5 in athletic shoes. I got these in the EUR 38 and they fit well. The shoe is snug, and my toes touch the edge, but are not super-curled. I think they could have fit a tiny bit better if I had gone down to a 37.5 -- after an hour or so of wear, they tend to feel a bit loose on my feet. The velcro straps make it easy to re-adjust to the proper snugness, though. They look cool, and apparently they're washable! I haven't tried this yet but will update when I do so.

Awesome shoe but extremely small

These shoes are great for just starting out! If you are unsure about what shoes to get, these are good starters for you to get the feel of what you may want in a shoe. My street shoe is 71/2 and I got the 38.5. They fit perfectly for me. They ran a little tight, but not unbearable which is what you want. Even if they are too tight, they will loosen with wear. These were my first rock climbing shoes. They look cool, and they feel great. The only thing is if you're going for originality these won't be the case. Other beginners got these shoes as well, so the week after I got these I started noticing a lot of women had them as well. I'll probably go with a different shoe next time.

I gave it four stars because they are so so so uncomfortable. But they do what they’re supposed to do, I am able to climb much more efficiently than I could when using the rental shoes from the gym. I ordered a size 39 (7.5 in women’s, my regular shoe size) and they fit very snug. However, after a few climbs, they have begun to wear in somewhat. And a plus, they are really very cute!

The quality and color of these shoes are great. They fit well and work well. My one issue and annoyance with these shoes is actually the velcro closure. I thought it would be easy to use and initially considered the velcro a feature. Unfortunately, in actuality, it is difficult to get the velcro closure tight enough on these shoes to ensure a good fit and often the velcro pieces don't line up, they almost "pass" by each other so I have to twist or do some other thing to get them to line up and attach to each other. Very annoying and unfortunate on an otherwise great shoe.

Lucked out and got the correct size on these without trying them on!! I ordered a 7.5, which is my normal street shoe size..they must be already sized down. They fit perfect (snug, but not painful, tip of toe touches the front of shoe, and no socks!), and they look great! I love the color ❤️ You can really tighten them up with the way the cross straps work as well. And they perform great! I’m using them for indoor rock climbing, and I definitely trust my shoes. Good buy!!

A little smaller fit than most of the other climbing shoes I have wore in the same eu size. But they adjust and are a bit more comfortable once you have them on for a minute. I mostly just belay, but they felt perfect on the wall and slab. Great beining shoe for sure! Velcro makes them fast on and off, with two points of contact and the z style strap, they are plenty adjustable!

Arrived clearly used (stains, coming apart at the soles, wear on the bottoms, tags inside crinkly and worn) and with the return label from another customer still inside the box from two years ago.
