Vollrath 1-5/8 oz Stainless Steel Disher - Size 20,Yellow

This disher is the perfect size for muffins. The quality compared to others that are available at retail stores is without question, much better. The design does not allow for the scraper gearing to become misaligned like other brands. The cost was actually lower than brands with the gears at the back of the handle, that fail after time. Please note these are not made for frozen foods.

Worth the price! The mechanism seems very strong and has held up nicely when scooping out cookie batter. I had the other kind where you squeeze the handles together, and that did not last when using it with cookie dough. This is definitely a quality product!

I got this to make cupcakes and muffins. It is high quality, the handle is comfortable, and the lever squeezes smoothly and evenly. Looks very durable and washes up easily. It speeds up my cooking time and ensures accurate baking since it provides consistent size batter in every scoop! I already had a smaller one for making cookies, so am thrilled to have found this larger one. A great tool to have in the kitchen.

Bought this item and the thumb lever kept jamming. Ordered a replacement and same issue. Problem is the gears don't align properly with the holes. Now returning the replacement. Disappointing because I have the purple one (3/4 oz) and it's worked flawlessly for years.
