I can't really tell any difference from Jello Pudding, except maybe a slightly better chocolate flavor. There is artificial flavor (probably vanillin though I can detect a sort of fake cream flavor as well.) The chocolate is from regular cocoa as an ingredient so other than the Godiva name, it's standard chocolate instant pudding. This needs to be made with DAIRY milk, the package claims it will not set with non-dairy milks. They recommend 2pct milk. I made it up with the requisite two cups of cold milk, whisking continually in a bowl for 2 minutes. At the two minute mark, the pudding was soft set and if you were under the beady eyes of a bunch of kids waiting for pudding, you could serve it to them at the five minute mark--it was spoonable. However, chilling it for a hour gave a very nice consistency that could be used in a pie. I don't prefer instant pudding; I think it tastes overly sweet and not very subtle but if you are looking for a quick dessert, this is very good quality for what it is. Godiva used to be owned by Campbells Soups, now it has been sold to Yildiz of Turkey, who also own McVities biscuits. The core company sells sweets, biscuits (cookies) and other confectionery and that's not a bad thing; we enjoyed a lot of Turkish-made foods when we lived overseas. The quality seems high.

Since it is a Godiva chocolate I expected a delicious chocolate flavor and this thing is noting close to that. Is not bad taste it just that is nothing special as other products from the same brand.
