The product itself was in good shape but these are 2 of the 6 batteries that came in the toy. There was 2 others that i threw away immediately before I could even get a picture. The end of 2 of the batteries were broken. We are lucky there was no battery acid leaking out of them. Had to use 6 of our own batteries once we realized the thing wouldn't turn on. Cheap generic batteries that could have cause alot more damage.

The media could not be loaded. This toy was extremely cute. I purchased it for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. The instructions are a bit long with each step (lots of wand waving) but the best part is when the smoke begins to come. The video only shows the last set of wand waving that happens once the smoke begins, but there were a lot of steps prior to that. Definitely keep the instructions because there is no way you can memorize all the steps. This toy is about the experience, so from that perspective, it could certainly feel a little pricey. However, you can continue to use the crystal ball, putting other toys in it to appear, so at least it’s not a total waste. The smoke forms without needing to add anything to the toy. It comes ready to use out of the box. The stuffed animal that comes inside is very cute and the wand can be used on the stuffed animal as well. Overall, the toy functioned as commercialized so it was just as expected.

We are very disappointed with this purchase. We got this item to take with us on a trip to give as a gift to a young child in our family. When we gave it to the child, it did not work. The globe made noises but no smoke, nothing occurred with the globe itself. We looked inside of the globe to see why it would not work. It was wet inside and the doll was wet too. The liquid smelled funny. The doll was not doing anything, so we opened the battery compartment and battery acid fluid was leaking all over the place. The globe did not work. The doll could not be played with because of the battery acid on it. I put in for a return with the seller. I am not sure if I can even return it because I left it with the child. I already felt terrible about it being in such bad shape, I did not want to have to ask for the gift back too. I'll send a return label to them and give them the option to return it if they want. But I think once the parents were able to get the the child to stop asking to play with it, they most likely put it in the trash. I purchase A LOT on Amazon, and this is by far the only purchase made that I feel was absolutely not worth the purchase, not even at the discounted cyber monday price.

This toy came with all dead batteries. 8 dead batteries which defeated the purpose as the toy didn't get to appear and it was almost impossible to get the toy pet out from down inside the base. Fun for a kid interested in spells.
