I've been trying out different oils to use for dry skin instead of chemical lotions you get at the store that cause so many other issues on the skin. So far this rosehip oil has been my favorite. And I'm not scared of it being toxic to my cats. If they lick my hand with it on (which they seem to really love as well with this oil) it won't hurt them like some of the other oils can. As long as I'm mindful of any essential oils I mix into it. I did try it on my scalp to help with dandruff mixed in with some rosemary oil, but that didn't help. So why I tried other oils like castor and apricot oil. Neither of those worked for the scalp (I finally found a T/Sal shampoo that works) either and caused rashes on my chest when used daily. This rosehip oil didn't cause any rashes used daily so am buying it again to use to get my overall dry skin issues. I haven't used any other brands yet, but for this one it's really good for the value.

As I walk through the valley of perimenopause, my skin and hair became extremely dry. Now, I pat a few drops of this on my face (and other *cough* sensitive areas) after a shower and my dry, itchy skin becomes moist, glowy and comfortable. Compared to similar oils, it's a great value for the price. I've been incredibly happy with this and would strongly recommend.
