The first time I ordered the strips were okay. Had no side effects whatsoever like oral iron tablets. So i ordered more and got a completely bad batch. I opened it quite late. The strips are soggy and very hard to peel off from the package. I'd say don't buy. It's very costly and doesn't even serve purpose.

ETA: Changing my 2 star rating to 3 since on taking 2 of these a day, I think it IS making a difference. That being said, the one benefit I do see, over taking an OTC supplement, is that these melts don't wreak havoc on my stomach and taste okay. Everything else I've written below stays the same. _______________ ORIGINAL REVIEW: So, I have been having this for more than a month now (even got a second and third pack from their site) and as an anemic, it's not really helpful. Here's why: 1. The pack says that each strip gives 19mg of 100% bioavailable iron. I'm not sure about this and vegeratians, especially young women need about 32mg of ABSORBED elemental iron in their diet. For folks who are deficient in iron, a strip a day, isn't gonna cut it, even w other meals. 2. Idk what part (vitamins or minerals) of, in what form or why they have added beetroot, swisschards, spinach etc. They don't specify. Veggies are nonheme sources of iron which also contain phytates. Phytates INHIBIT iron absorption. Sure, Vit C increases it, but why would they add things like spinach (with only 2% iron absorbency) to such an expensive product? I would like to see any studies they might have done on absorption rates in Melts. But, I can't find any and as the pack says in fine print, this is not a medicine meant to treat anything. So, they don't have to do any studies. ALSO IT IS WRONG TO TARGET ANEMICS and then say that their product doesn't treat anemia or iron deficiency in fine print. 3. This is just my personal preference but the strips are a dark brown in colour, not pink. Idk why they've advertised pink strips. There is minor staining of teeth at the end of 2 months. Bottom line? This a very expensive product meant for folks who are not suffering from IDA or deficiency. Further, I cannot find any 100% bioavailability claim on AB Fortis' site (all they mention is that it's more bioavailable) and by adding nonheme iron sources, they just might have undercut its performance massively. So, talk to your doctor if you're anemic first.
