Love this bike bag, no issues.
I've flown with this bike bag ~10 times now and never had an issue with any airlines. It's accepted as standard checked baggage on United, American, and Delta. Southwest did charge oversize fee. It's protected my bikes just fine. Personally, I also use a ton of foam pipe insulation as a precaution. I've traveled with both standard cable and hydraulic disc brake bikes - no issues either way. Teardown and reassemble can be a bit of a hassle, but after a few times you get the hang of it.

Fits the largest of full suspension bikes
Love the bag. Only one that would fit my XL full suspension 29” wheel MTB. Great quality.

Good airline survivability and LOTS of room
I've airlined it several times and it's held up well. Just some surface scuffs and no damage to equipment. I do take the rotors off as a safety precaution. Before using I snugged up the wheel bolts since EVOC evidently doesn't tighten them all the way the factory.. no issues so far. The pack weighs a little over 20lb by itself so if you're trying to get it <50lb to avoid some airlines excess baggage fees, in most cases it should be possible by packing certain things like pedals and anything else easily removable in your suitcase however, keep the seat. Adjust the seat to a height that supports the upper part of the case- it just keeps things a little more sturdy. The handlebars or stem and bars need to come off and put in front of the fork in the included pouch. It works well unless you have short cable housings which I do and have to slide my dropper control inward on the bar to relax the cables. I also find a better fit relieving fork and shock pressure on my XL size Mojo. The fork stands pretty tall in there at full extension. There is a lot of room in this bag. My XL Moonlander fits snug but only if I deflate the tires. I was impressed. I've had 3 different bikes in it and it's nicely adjustable to fit many types of bikes. My big advice is to take some time before putting it to the test to get it adjusted to your bike, it doesn't take too long and it's important to have everything settled properly instead of thrown in there loosely. Not a small investment but if you airline with your bike or know people will be chucking and slamming your prized possession behind your back, it gives some piece of mind to have it in this case.

Liked it so much I bought it twice
I needed to ship my road bike from Korea to America and I was paranoid as the bike was a huge investment. I did not need to worry. I bought this case once in Korea and another while in the USA in order to move bikes. I have two so that my wife and I can both pack our bikes and fly out. What's amazing is that depending on the airline, this is just a regular checked bag. I have now had two bikes fly around the world and found no damage whatsoever. Yes, it is pricey but it is worth it if your bike is your baby like mine. :)

Didnt come with all parts....
I ordered the bag with 2 weeks to prepare for my trip, when it finally arrived ( i have prime ) one of the bag frame sticks didn't come with it at all. so now it doesn't hold itself up and I have 4 days before my flight.

Flew with Southwest
I bought this bag to fly with. I wasn't sure if Southwest would take it but they did (2024). I paid the $75 bike fee at the terminal and they took it with no questions. Maybe you could get it as part of your two free checked bags but I didn't wanna risk it. Transported a mostly stock, Large Surly Bridge Club 27.5 in, a rear rack, and minimal tools. I had to remove the seat post and rear rack. I secured them so that they wouldn't move during transit. My bike chain got flipped upside down and got tangled so next time I'd make sure to secure that as well. Nothing was damaged. The bike is steel though so that maybe that helped.

Great protection
Traveled all the way to Latin America and back. My bike was in perfect condition after several flights. A little heavy but I wasn't charged extra for couple pounds extra.
