2pcs Retro Antique Bronze Toggle Buckle Latch Clasp with Screws for Small Wooden Jewelry Box Suitcase Cabinet, Bronze

I installed these antique bronze toggle clasps on a wood chest that my husband's grandfather had made in the 1940s. We have been using it to hold small electrical plugs, but the lid never had a clasp on it to keep it closed. We cleaned it up, added new hinges, and added one of these clasps and now it does stay closed. The box is relatively small, about 6"x 14" and one clasp is all that we needed to keep this wood box closed. It looks like it was made for this old box. It comes with the screws too.

Not the strongest hinges, I used them for a jewelry box I made. Pre-drill the screws if you are putting this into hardwood.

They look the part and add a little vintage charm to the boxes that I am building. However, I have some doubts regarding their durability. If you are not going to be using them that frequently, I say they are a decent buy.

The metal wasz a bit thin so I would not use these on a project that is getting a lot of wear and tear. Good looking design and easy to install.
