I’ve used many different fertilizers over the years, but Osmocote PLUS has become my go-to for all my garden beds, fruit trees, and indoor plants. I garden year-round in Southern California (specifically in Zone 9B now that we've moved), and this product consistently gives me the healthiest growth with absolutely no burn. What I love most is how simple it is. You just sprinkle the granules into the soil, mix lightly, and that’s it! The plants get fed slowly for months. No messy liquids, no mixing, no bad odor, the color is earthly like grains, and no guessing if I’m overdoing it. My personal results are similar, although when we relocated/moved, I had to plant more fruit trees, and so glad this Osmocote Smart Release Plant Food is very dependable. -Stronger growth in my fruit trees (lemons, tangerines, nectaplums, apples, etc.) and my vegetable garden. -Healthier soil and faster seedling establishment -Greener, fuller plants with less work -Truly zero burn, even in hot weather I just bought a fresh bag for my winter planting, and it’s the easiest fertilizer I would recommend.

this product works well and I like that I do not have to be particularly careful about how much I put in house plants We have a lot of plans and I'm glad to not have to worry about burning/over fertilizing them. You don't have to be extremely precise about how many beads you put on each plant as long as it is the reasonable it seems to work out the way you would want

I bought this for years when my landscaper recommended it. My regular outdoor store offered it until a couple of years ago. Must have succumbed to the competing fertilizer that’s pretty much had a monopoly for years ! So I was glad to find it here on Amazon! Easy to use and does a great job!! The best!

Osmocote is the best fertilizer to use when planting your annual color. Gives plants everything they need every time you water so don’t have to mix blue powder in a 2 gallon jug 10 hundred times to water all of your flowers.

Great stuff, I use it for my potted flowering annual plants. Before using it, I had mediocre results. A nursery man recommended this and I took his recommendation. Everything did much much better.

If you know the saying...I put it on everything! Although rarely used as my primary fertilizer, it's a fantastic insurance policy in case you forget to fertilize for a few weeks. The slow release granules last about 6 months, so I love sending my starter plants out loaded with them. ALL plants love the food, and it seems to be effective for even blooming varieties. The big bag is way cheaper than the Shaker bottle, but it's nice to have to Shaker to refill.

My "garden" is planted in BIG planters. This is great for the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and other veggies. Flowers bloom beautifully too.
