These hiking boots are very comfortable; using them for riding my motorcycle. The upper portion of the boot material is a little too thick for my preference but overall- excellent boot for the price

Size is true. I prefer a mid height shoe (just up to the ankle), these are over the ankle. The soles feel thick and fairly stiff. The rest of the shoe feels thickly padded. So overall the shoe feels clunky. Maybe they will feel less clunky with wear. No idea if they are waterproof or how they will last.
