This tool holds things when you're cutting them into slices but they also make a great melon baller, would recommend

It is really difficult to hold an onion and get a knife to slice down through the gadget. The onion did not sit properly in the center because the gadget tapers near the handle. I tried 3 different style of knives and none of them could navigate the slots very well. It didn't even cut all the way down through. I had to remove the onion that looked worse for the wear and finish cutting it by hand. I will try it on a hard boiled egg. I do not recommend this product. I gave it one star because I had no other option and it was easy to clean.

Love what this product is intended for and while I do get good slices and dices while using it; about 1/4 of whatever in chopping in to does not get touched by the knife. Also from the picture you can see some of the prongs are bent making it hard to get my knife in between them. They have been like this since I unboxed the item. Easy to clean and store.

I wanted to love this. But I don't. It does not open very far at all. You have to try and squeeze a small tomato in it without squashing the tomato. Unless you are placing small items in it to slice, it will not work. The slicing slots also don't line up very well on each side. Maybe this one is defective, but I definitely would not purchase again.

This was a terrible item and waste of money. Bought this to slice potatoes and won't fit most potatoes nor any that are misshapen. The prongs of the unit are not straight and many were misaligned. Couldn't get knives to fit to slice anything and I tried 6 different knives of different thinness and style. Grip was not easy to use either. The part it is supoaed to sit on was not and had more of a rounded edge so it was sliding around. Not stury enough. Very disappointed.

Cuts onions and tomates perfectly great buy

I found this gadget to be annoying and useless. Slicing spaces did not line up properly. Overpriced, too.
