The Big Lebowski - TIME - Man of the Year Mirror

Ever since I saw this mirror was for sale a few years ago, I've wanted it. This is one of those pieces of movie memorabilia that only the true Lebowski fan is going to recognize and appreciate. However, there were a lot of different places that I could buy this. Ebay had a few, even for a few dollars cheaper, but they weren't an exact replica. The lettering on the mirror looked cheap and they were missing the red border. So when I saw that an Amazon vender was selling what looked like a pretty good replica, I dropped the coin and rolled the dice. And it was totally worth it. It's fantastic quality, not cheaply made. It looks exactly like the mirror from the movie. I have it hanging over my fireplace as a constant reminder that I am, indeed, a Little Lebowski Urban Achiever.

The frame on this is absolute junk. It arrived in a well packed box, but had completely fallen apart on me. I got some wood glue and was able to glue the frame back together, but it was a bit of a pain to get aligned correctly. Once I got the thing glued back together and re-assembled, it was fine. Just beware that if you buy this you're probably going to have to fix it. The build quality is atrocious. I've got it hung up now and I'm sure it's not going to break on me again, but it's ridiculous that it didn't even survive shipping - despite being properly packed!

This is a good replica and looks very much like the prop in the movie. However, when I received it, I was disappointed that the lettering was done in vinyl instead of by silkscreen. I feel for the price I paid, it would have been a better value if done by silkscreen instead of vinyl, which will likely lift & peel over time (no pun intended!) I would have rated 2 stars, but my husband did like it so that's worth another star.

A well done knockoff. I'm sure that it could be made for a lot cheaper than $44.99 but for those of us like myself, I'd rather have someone else do it. If you've got some artistic skill, a picture frame, mirror, and some lettering, you could make your own for much less. With all that said, a job well done making this by the seller.

mirror is great, obviously. it seems smaller in my hands than i thought it would be, but the dimensions are spot on with the description. the quality of the vinyl on the mirror is pretty good; it's held up to several cleanings so far. there was a bit of a ding in the frame when it arrived, but it's likely the fault of the shipping and handling process, so i'm not holding it against the product itself.the frame is very solid, with a thick backing and a folding table stand (which i promptly ripped off so i could mount this to the wall). it gets all the compliments at my bar, hanging proudly in the men's room right above the sink. while spending $40 for a bar bathroom mirror may be a bit excessive, i'm happy we decided on this item...well, the royal "we" anyways.

I gave this to a buddy of mine as a wedding gift. I know my friend digs it.... I do no know how she feels about it. Comes as advertised, but includes a stand on the back so it can be placed on a level surface like a desk or shelf. Good detail with the lettering. The red matting helps it stand out. Arrived on time. No complaints. Thinking about getting one for myself.

This mirror came to my door completely shattered after waiting excitedly and impatiently because of it's awesomeness. Not only was I disappointed when it came shattered, but I was even more disappointed when I realized I wasn't that mad about it because it looked like iron on letters that were already peeling and the reflection was distorted. Not even close to being worth $40. Buy the cheaper one if you want it just for kicks...and make sure they package it like a mirror should be packaged. Thankfully this wasn't a gift for someone else.

Worth more like 20.00 than what I paid. I know it must have taken a lot of work for someone to make this. you can see where the banner is under the red border, a little extra effort could have prevented that. Nice frame. Everytime I tried to clean the mirror, lint and other crap would get stuck under the lettering. If I made this myself I would be proud of it. But paying what I did? Not so much.
