When I can afford it these are the Best Bully Sticks for my dogs which is not easy being I have a small and larger dog, my dogs love them. Oh my goodness. These are awesome. I have a 60 pound pittie mix boy who is 9mo and like all rambunctious children, needs a constructive way to partake in destruction. Cardboard boxes are nice, but he won't bother with 'super chewer' plastic toys. He wants things that rip, tear, squeak, or are actually edible and smell disgusting. You can almost see the boredom coming on (even after a mountain hike) and these bully sticks are the equivalent of a giving your toddler an unlocked iPhone with 'Baby Shark' on loop for two hours straight. The bully sticks are great because he rips things up so fast (no raw bones for this guy because he's a gulper). These last for hours, sometimes days, depending how determined he is or if he loses it in the yard. Even a week old, if he discovers it, he'll eat it. Honestly, they're pretty gross. They smell, true, but that's what dogs love, so who are we to demand 'low odor' anyway? But if you give him one and you're sitting in the living room, you won't notice a smell. Only when he comes to sit in your lap and shoves a half-chewed bull penis in your face to say 'look what I got, Mom!', will you smell a distinctly 'pet treat, rendered fat' scent. Opening the bag is different story. That's a little intense. But close the resealable bag and you're good to go. They're awesome size and thickness for the price, aren't overly greasy, won't stain the carpet, and are such much easier on the digestive system. They fray down into this nice cartilaginous, pulpy mess that stays on the stick and gives their teeth a great floss. My dog's teeth are PRISTINE, and the vet said 'yes, he's a puppy, they should be pristine', but that next to brushing them, this is the next best thing. The bully sticks are soft enough not to worry about tooth breakage, and they can't chew off chunks to swallow for your vet to surgically remove later. Be advised, however, they do have quite a bit of caloric content, so adjust your dog's dinner rations accordingly or you'll end up with a chunky monkey. All in all, I've got these things on auto-ship, they're that good.

My dogs absolutely love these treats. Take some about 20 minutes to finish them off but they love them they chew on them they don't choke their hard enough last a little bit of time They don't smell bad they don't break off I'm not worried about them choking they're lightweight. The only problem is the number in there there's five of them and I have three dogs. I don't even get to give them two . They are tad pricey

My dog absolutely loved these bulky sticks. They smell like rotten fish which is tough to deal with but I thought it was worth it because it kept my puppy busy for an hour until… the diarrhea set in. It was horrible. They gave him explosive diarrhea. We don’t give him any human food. Just his kibble and dog treats. Nothing changed except these sticks. I’m bummed because he did like them but his stomach couldn’t handle. So, I think these would be great for some dogs maybe with a better constitution or maybe limiting their chewing it to a few mins at a time in the beginning as the company’s rep suggested. ******I bumped up my rating because the company stands behind their product and reached out to work things out with me which included suggesting slowly introducing the sticks to the dog and not eating the whole thing in 1 sitting. Okay, first thing you should know about these: they smell NASTY. All bully sticks will smell to some degree (you can buy some that are less smelly but even those ones will still have a faint scent) but these are far and away the WORST smelling brand of bully sticks I've tried. I seriously cannot express how gross these things smell without being offensive. Now, that being said, I'm still giving these 5 stars, because my pup (9 month old German Shepherd/husky mix) loves these bully sticks (maybe because they smell so bad, who knows the mind of a dog). I get the thick kind because they last the longest. These days, he can chew threw them pretty fast, but I've been getting them for him for months and when he was smaller they would easily last hours. Since he got his big boy teeth they don't last as long but to be fair, not much really can stand up to those big teeth and powerful jaws anymore without being a danger. I am still pleased with how long they do last (it would probably take him about 30 minutes or so to chew through a whole one but luckily his attention span isn't that long). The price is also way cheaper than the big box pet stores, who want twice as much for half the amount of sticks. So, given that my puppy loves these, they last a decent amount of time, and they are the best price point for bully sticks I've found, I'm giving them 5 stars. But just to reiterate THEY SMELL COMPLETELY AWFUL. Some batches are a bit better but the last 2 packs I've gotten have almost made me gag when opening because of how horrible they are. Hope my puppy knows how much I love him....

Pup loves these. Three stars due to the fact that the package contained one mid-sized bully stick and the rest were thinner than a pencil. Inconsistent quality.

I have to keep buying more. At first, my dog wasn’t very interested. Now she is obsessed. She is an anxious chewer . We noticed when we left she was chewing on our wood stairs. A friend recommended bully sticks. Now, as we leave, we tossed one on the stairs for her to find, and we haven’t had any incidences. I did order the longer version as she is an 80 pound golden retriever and choose them pretty quickly
