Excellent Build Quality and Super Easy to Use
This joint master is a fantastic tool with impressive build quality — it feels solid and durable, made from sturdy materials that inspire confidence. The self-clamping feature works flawlessly, making it incredibly easy to secure pieces without extra help or clamps. Using it for woodworking joints has been a breeze. The setup is straightforward, and it holds workpieces securely and precisely, which really speeds up the process. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned woodworker, this tool makes joint work much simpler and more accurate. Worth The Money
This is a worthy Jig to have. I bought the drills, stop collars separate instead of the big kit that didn't have quite all you need for all three size dowel pins. Easy to setup and use. First repair was end joints on a Lazy Suzanne that had broken. Short time required to do more complicated joints, and they have good videos to get you started. I don't do enough of this type repair to justify the big Jog Kits. I'm happy with this Joint Master.

Solid, Accurate Doweling Jig - Bulky but Reliable for Straightforward Projects
I picked up the Milescraft 1334 Joint Master for some upcoming woodworking projects and wanted to share my first impressions after trying it out with some test boards. Build and First Impressions: The jig feels heavy and solid, made from aluminum with a self-clamping design that seems sturdy. It’s definitely bigger than I expected - about 25 cm (10 inches) long and close to 900 grams (2 lbs), so it takes up a decent amount of space. Ease of Use: Setting it up is straightforward. The self-clamping feature holds boards firmly, and I didn’t need extra clamps for my quick tests. The centering spacers are a nice touch and helped keep things lined up. The guides for 1/4 in, 5/16 in, and 3/8 in dowel pins (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm) are clearly marked, and the holes I drilled matched up as expected in my scrap wood. Limitations: It’s a bit bulky, especially if you’re working on smaller projects or need to get into tight spots. From what I can tell, it isn’t as adjustable as some other jigs I’ve seen, but enough for many doweling tasks. Pros: Sturdy aluminum construction Holds workpieces tight with self-clamping Centering spacers help with alignment Compatible with several dowel sizes Cons: Bulky and not easy to use in small spaces Less flexible than some other jigs Summary Overall, my first impressions are positive. The Joint Master feels like a solid, reliable tool for simple doweling jobs, though it’s not the most flexible or compact option. If you mostly do straightforward edge or corner joints, it should work well. Hope this helps someone looking for a sturdy doweling jig.

Worth it
This is the best dowel jig I’ve used so far. I’ve had a few other cheaper ones and they were a waste of money. Even one of the cheaper Milescraft ones broke when I dropped it once. This one is sturdy and seems to be more accurate than the others. Just like any jig, be conscious of your reference surface and tighten everything snug so it doesn’t slip and this thing will serve you well.

I am very pleased - versatile, well documented, and easy to use
I am very pleased with this jig. Several notable things: (1) very versatile, one can move parts of the jig around and adjust it for almost any imaginable situation. (2) manual is very detailed and is actually written in English (not garbled Chinese English), manual is a document which one can understand, follow, and get the most from the tool, (3) very well packaged in a compact carton, one can use the tool and then fit all the pats back into the box and store it in the box. It is not a plastic container, but cardboard works well, especially considering the price of the tool. I was lazy to get my Domino joiner out, and was able to complete a small project with a couple of dozens of dowels very easily and quickly. Also, dowels and spare drills are very inexpensive.

Lined up perfectly
This jig worked great for what I needed. I used it to dowel a serving tray frame together. Much better and stronger than just using the nails. Milescraft has many affordable jigs that work great. I would recommend it.
