The button is waterproof but not sure why you would want the bell portion outside...I don't think it's waterproof.

Works as advertised...easy to install and program

Great value for the price. Have had it installed since August of last year. The doorbell button is 125' from the house next to the automatic gate. The inside unit has plenty of volume for almost any home. To date, the outside button has survived bright sun, cold and hot weather, several heavy wind and rain storms, two sandstorms and high winds without any problems. Just follow the instructions.

All good so far

Bought this for my frail brother-in-law. He sleeps downstairs and is prone to falling so using this he can call his wife upstairs to help him. The signal reaches through thick walls and does the job giving some peace of mind. Hope it is reliable long term, been fine so far. Time wlll tell.Update…Poor guy fell yesterday at 5:30am. He had the bell push handy and alerted his wife upstairs to help him get up. It worked a treat and he’s now having an operation on his broken hip.
