Oktoberfest Costumes Women Dirndl Dresses 3 Pcs German Oktoberfest Dress Bavarian Blue Dress White Blouse Pink Apron

I got this dirndl as a last minute scramble to have a dress for an Oktoberfest happening this past weekend. Ideally, I wanted an authentic or at least a German branded dirndl, but this was a great alternative, because it comes with the blouse and the apron. It was delivered just in time, I was able to give it a quick iron and I was ready to go. The dress is not cheap like most Halloween-style dirndl that have basic colors. The dress is made of 100% rayon, which is fine alternative to cotton, definitely breathable. The bodice is reenforced with white batting. The detail on this dress is amazing, I was impressed. For the price and time I got it, I was very pleased. It will always be nice to have this as a backup to the authentic dirndl I will be getting. As for fit, I usually wear a medium, I followed the size chart and got the medium and it fit great, not too tight. The flat waist measurement is 15" and that is my preferred comfortable measurement. I'm 5'1"/133 lbs. for reference. If you add a petticoat it will be even better and I will be getting a red ribbon for the bust instead, so it will bring out the fine red check pattern on the apron (it's not pink, it's a very fine red and white check). My only critique, and it's minor, is the tightness of the blouse sleeves. I probably have fat arms, but I think the sleeve openings could stand to be a little bigger!

FANTASTIC quality! I am so impressed with this costume. It is like something you would make yourself. The bodice is completely lined, there are no frayed edges, everything is hemmed nicely. The fabric is real fabric not plastic-y polyester. The zipper in the front makes it so easy to put on and the zipper is LONG not like some that are barely enough of an opening to fit into. The grommets for the ribbon are metal and cute. All the trim is well done and adds a very nice touch to the outfit. I love the piping. This dress is FITTED so make sure you know your size. To be clear, it is fitted in the bodice so that's the measurement you want the most. I do have a little tummy but the bodice does NOT come all the way down to the NATURAL waist so it actually hides my tummy in the skirt. One thing that is less than a 5 star is the blouse. It is cute and all but it doesn't have any stretch (not of the costume does) and so it is a bit of a struggle for me to put on. It has ties so you can tighten it but it fits me snug so no need to tighten. It would be nice if the fabric was a bit softer and I wonder if it will be softer after washing. If you are between sizes consider that the cotton might shrink. I plan to line dry mine. Also the sleeves are a bit tight at the elastic. Lastly, I feel it is a cute style and flattering.

Very pretty and good quality but the sleeves were too tight. For reference I’m 125lbs 5’3” and typically a size small. I got the small and everything fit well except the sleeves. I’m sure you could stretch them out a bit or make a slit in the elastic to help. I ended up returning it. My friend got the same one in a bigger size. Still snug on the arms but it worked out for her!

I needed a dirndl dress for an Oktoberfest party. I probably won’t be wearing it more than once so I didn’t need anything super high quality that would last a long time, but I still really wanted something as authentic as possible. This one is a great option bc, although I would put it solidly in the costumey category in terms of quality of materials and cost (this is clearly not an actual authentic dirndl), for what it is, the craftsmanship, fit, and design are very good. As a non-Bavarian person who has done a fair amount of research on authentic dirndls, it has the look of an authentic dirndl (as far as I can tell), down to the single side pocket. The craftsmanship is great. There is a lot of attention to detail, including the lining, trim, and ruffle details. The material of the skirt is quite thin (looks like cotton but is rayon) and I wish it was a bit fuller, but that’s kind of expected given the price. I added a petticoat underneath and it makes the dirndl look waaaaaay nicer. Sizing is true to size and the fit is excellent. I normally wear a size 4 and the small fits perfectly. The length hits right at my knees. I would love to support the authentic dirndl makers, as I do love traditional cultural attire, but I can’t justify the cost for something I’d wear just once. If you’re looking for an authentic looking dirndl that doesn’t break the bank, this one is a great option.

Beautiful dress. Feels like really good quality. Doesn’t feel like a cheap costume. Arm holes on white shirt were a little tight but I do have bigger arms. I really like that the pieces are not sewn together so they can be work separately if wanted.

The colors in the photo are misleading. I ordered this thinking it was black and pink. What arrived is navy blue and red. The quality is very good for the price, and the fit was accurate and exactly true to size, but these colors are not going to cut it.

Quality exceeded my expectations! True to size ( Im 5’7” - 145 lbs - typically wear a size 8 a- Size medium fit perfectly).
