Great oil for cuckoo clocks and worked immediately to restart a stopped cuckoo clock!
My cuckoo clock stopped working several months ago and I was just waiting to drop it off with the clock lady in our town (she’s REALLY GOOD!) On a whim I looked up on YouTube about cuckoo clock maintenance and it was mostly all about oiling it every 3-5 years—-the last time it stopped was over 5 years ago, so I read and watched the video and I was nervous but said what the heck-I invested less than 9 dollars got this TOTALLY SYNTHETIC OIL (which all reviews said to use) and I applied a drop at all the pivot points (which were easily described in the video) and now, 5 hours later it is STILL running smoothly! It wasn’t the money I saved (which I did big time) but the fact that I saved the hassle of bringing it down to the clock shop and waiting a few weeks and having to go back a SECOND time to pick it up! Oil was perfect and I highly recommend!

Good oil at a good price.
I needed this oil for a nearly 50 year old grandfather clock. Works as advertised.

How to Use this Product
Took my old Sessions Mantle clock out of the case. Cleaned it as best I could without disassembling it and oiled all the pivot spots. The clock came alive again and keeps perfect time. I especially like the loooong spout. Just be sure NOT to squeeze the bottle. Just touch the spout to the pivot point and let a bit of oil get out. Apply to both sides. Worked great.

Easy to use
I bought this oil to oil my antique mantel clock. The quality and ease of use were good. I had no leakage, but my clock stopped functioning well after I oiled it. I'm assuming it was because I oiled it to much

Perfect!
Great oil, reasonable price. I really like the fact that it comes in a small container and is easy to use. I didn't need a large amount, since I only do maintenance on one clock. Perfect!

Worked Very Well
Used this oil on a Grandmother clock that had stopped working. had to clean it twice and put more oil on pins than I had hoped, but the clock is now working. The needle allows placing the oil where you want it not everywhere.

This was recommended for grandfather clocks and for a reason. It is very solvable and won't gum up the mechanism. Very good

Really happy with this. I couldn’t justify paying a £300 fee to have my stopped pendulum clock serviced. I thought I would take a £20 gamble on this oil and it worked a treat. It took some time to get to each cog but well worth it now my clock is ticking over nicely again. The needle type dropper is great for allowing access to inner parts and is easy to apply one drop.

The hundred year old wall clock which I inherited from my parents 16 years ago stopped working after I adjusted the height of the pendulum to speed it up a little. I did some YouTube research and reckoned the oil had dried a little. I ordered this from Amazon and oiled those parts of the mechanism I could reach (the clock was last serviced 15 years ago). It comes with a 21G applicator. I put loads of oil on the parts the pendulum swings from, left the clock mechanism level overnight, then the following day started the pendulum swinging and it hasn't stopped. This saved me £600 and a journey to the horologist 20 miles away.

so what do you do when you inherit a bunch of vintage clocks and can't find a clock smith. On line it show's how to clean and re-oil clocks. This is the right oil for the job. has a long blunt syringe tip. With that and a dental tip was able to get them all going again. Good product
