Perfect for Tabletop Fountains!
This is a great fountain motor at a great price. The nature of fountains means they tend to grow biofilm. Once that gets into a motor, it's hard to eradicate, so I buy a new one every year or so. The pump is silent, durable, offers different speeds, and has enough power for a small, tabletop fountain. Cleaning it is a bit fraught, which is why I end up replacing them when I can't get them clean. The pump runs fine, but biofilm blocks the intake, even with distilled water and silver drops. I don't know that there's a solution to that problem, but replacement is inexpensive for a motor I'll use for at least a year!

Quiet, Powerful, and Perfect for Small Fountains!
This DaToo mini water pump works great — it’s small, easy to hide, and runs super quiet. For a 3W pump, it moves water surprisingly well and keeps my small fountain running smoothly without any noise or issues. I’m really impressed by how well this little pump performs. The DaToo 50GPH 3W model is compact but powerful enough for tabletop fountains, small aquariums, or mini hydroponic setups. It starts up quickly, keeps a steady water flow, and stays quiet the entire time — you barely notice it’s running, which is perfect for indoor use or relaxing spaces. The build quality feels solid, with good materials that don’t rattle or overheat. The suction cups on the bottom keep it firmly in place, even when it’s fully submerged. It’s easy to clean and adjust if needed, and setup takes less than a minute. I also like how energy-efficient it is — it runs all day without getting hot or raising the water temperature. For the price, it’s a fantastic value. If you’re looking for a quiet, reliable, and durable small fountain pump, this one checks all the boxes. Highly recommended for anyone who wants something simple and effective that just works without fuss.

Great quality, perfect size very strong
These are smaller than I expected, which was awesome. I thought they would be big bulky and weird but they are actually quite perfect. They have a switch to make them stronger if necessary. I don’t need it that strong so I turned it down so so they work really well the tubing is very thick. It doesn’t get kinked and that’s very important because if it has bad tubing, it will kink and I use it to create Zen water fountains Desktop the product is easy to use. The materials are easy to install and they even come with an adapter the pumping capacity is great. It’s actually really strong and I have to keep refilling the water because it works so well. The suction power is amazing but they need to be submerged. Otherwise it will stop working properly if there’s too much air so make sure you have enough water in there so you don’t burn it out I know it will have some longevity because it’s a very sturdy product. It’s a good quality. It comes with plugs so you don’t have to worry about it, but it is USB. The power cords are pretty long so it is easy to plug-in.

Great For Low Water!
This pump works really good, so good a year later I'm getting another one for a new tank and to say that the old one is still kicking! It has different flow rates and has a light hum so it's not silent. THE BEST part is how low the water can be, it's for a toads water bowl, so only a little over an inch and it works just fine. It's a little hard to clean/open and I have yet to find a proper filter cartridge for it not the biggest deal. My toad loves it, if you have a small reptile/amphibian that you'd like to create a little waterfall for, this is perfect. She loves sitting under it!

Good pump for the money and has lasted a while!
Works great! Strong flow, quiet.. easy to clean! Has lasted and I have no complaints. I don’t get paid for my reviews and I don’t get any free products.

Pumps great the hose is low grade quality
The pump itself is just fine the hose absolutely sucks like 2 years ago I bought this item still works but the hose was way better kink free and much more durable then for the love of the hobby greed of manufactures and lowering quality badly on hoses has to stop!

Garbage!
I bought this to use in a scape for a water fall. When I first opened the package and saw how small it was, I thought this is great since I’ll get to hide the pump easier than I thought. The hose provided is about 2-2.5 feet long. The pump motor barely has enough oomph to push the water through the hose 6” above the motor. I tried to upload 2 videos but it won’t let me show you how puny this thing is. However in the bowl this is set on its highest setting. Of which there are 4. Low is a joke and high is marginally better, if you’d even call it that. Do not bother. If I could give this zero stars I would. It is quiet…. <<insert eye roll>> I first tested it in a quart mason jar, filled to the neck. I held the hose approximately 1’ above the rim leaving a good foot of loose hose and the water wouldn’t budge. In the bowl I have about a pint of water and it barely moves it and the motor speed goes in and out as seen by the video. If you’re wanting a water feature if any kind - choose something, ANYTHING, else. Not worth the money spent and won’t work for more than a small, slow sump.

Good value for its size
I have a 16 gallon Bio-Cube that's set up as a reef tank. The stock configuration has one nozzle for the pump outflow at the top left of the tank. Adding this pump helps add a little extra water movement for my corals. I set it up along the lower third to blow parallel to the back wall to create a little circulation along the bottom and middle of the tank. I used the highest setting and it has worked out perfectly. With a small aquarium you can't go too big or you'll just create a vortex. I did like that this was adjustable in case the flow was too much but it turns out to be just right. Other than the manual adjustment there are no other features for this basic pump. It sticks nicely to my side glass with the included suction cups. When I first set it up I heard a mild buzzing sound but after unplugging it and restarting it the sound has disappeared. Maybe it had some debris but now it is running silent. Hopefully it stays that way. For the low price this is a great addition to a small reef.
