Fab. Easy to use. Smells like used. Cooking oil but isn't horrendous. Just about to buy our 2nd bottle. Our floor is ~26m² and we're 2/3rds of the way through having done2 coats. Still plenty left to do the last part.

Used this on some Redwood drawer fronts I'd put on my dad's new workbench, came up lovely! Easy to apply with a microfibre cloth and once dried, brought out the colour of the wood nicely. Didn't really notice much of a smell, but was using it outside, so unless it was overpowering, I'd probably not have noticed it anyway! Will definitely be buying some more of this in the future.

Bought to restore a wooden garden bear. Added this oil to it which has brought it up to a well oiled bear which I hope has many happy oiled years left.

I bought this to oil my drive oak gates as it is UV and mildew resistant. Over the years I have used Osmo oil and most recently Owatrol which have never really been successful. So I sanded the gates down with 120 grit and applied 2 coats of the oil with an oil soaked cloth. Gates and posts span over 8 feet and the one litre was all it took with a little left over. Now I wait to see how it weathers but will re coat 2 - 3 times annually

Waterproofs brilliantly - takes time to dry and the initial smell is quite strong but as it is for outdoor use it soon fades.

Tad expensive

Really good at keeping the bugs away . Dribbled a bit around the bonfire .. and rubbed it on our body’s . Not a very pleasant odor !

I use tung oil for two purposes. I treat my teak patio furniture "annually" (well maybe every 18 months). That project accounts for the quantity I purchased. It also accounts for why I withheld the fifth star on Durability. Ask me again in a year. After I've had the chance to evaluate how well it holds up to Arizona summer. I also use tung oil for my woodworking projects. I use tung oil on cutting boards and candy dishes and other food safe items. And recently I've started using tung oil as sanding sealer / wood preservative on almost all of my wood projects. Godora's Pure Tung Oil has shined as my base for products that I finish with oil as well as those I finish with a varnish (or lacquer or polyurethane). This oil soaks into the wood easily and evenly. It adds a richness to the wood with a minimum of color change. While oil does not provide the same penetration seal as shellac, I have found that Godora's tung oil provides a better balance of sealant and richness. Ease of application. Coverage. Depth. Evenness.
