I bought another measuring tape , can’t remember why but makes me think I didn’t like this one.

Warum werden in Europa noch Lineale mit dem amerikanischen Maßsystem angeboten? Man sollte wenigstens in der Beschreibung dazu schreiben, dass es nicht metrisch ist – das hab ich aber nirgends gesehen. Die Lineale selbst sind aber von toller Qualität!

Overall love this measuring tape, here are the pros and cons: PROS: -Super easy to read extra large numbers, great if you forgot your glasses! -Mechanism is smooth, glides easily, seems well made CONS: -Only has inches, no centimeters. I miss being able to pull out the tape to see how big a certain amount of centimeters will be. In this world of the internet where we can buy things marketed only in centimeters, this means I first have to do the calculation (2.54 cm per inch) and then pull out the tape measure to see how that size looks (or use a diff tape measure that does have centimeters). -This is a large-in-the-hand tape measure with a solid weight to it. I have a mini tape measure that seems a bit handier when I’m on the go (but not nearly as easy to read). So if you flea market this will add some bulk and weight to your tote bag. On the other hand, it is super easy to read! Bottom Line: I wish they had put centimeters in smaller print along the bottom edge, but other than that this is a smoothly functioning super easy to read and use tape measure.
