At first it smells weird but give it a few minutes to dry and it smells amazing. Also you need way less than you think. I'm tired of oils because they're...oily. this is way lighter and I don't have to worry about transferring oil on my clothes.

I never could get beyond a few weeks of beard growth due to the insane itchiness of the hair. The mint Cremo did the trick and has gotten me through most of the itchy stage. It’s quite affordable just be aware you are NOT a buying a ‘premium’ or ‘all-natural’ product here. It has chemicals which are hard to pronounce and you won’t find in other, more expensive balms. That being said, whenever the itching began I would smear some of this on my face and the itch would lessen or go away - sometimes applying two or three times a day, so it does what it says it will do - just keep it handy. The minty smell isn’t off putting but not endearing either. In another week I will switch to a balm to soften and hydrate the beard. Until then, I will continue using this stuff.

It’s that smell that gets you noticed, Palo Santo. Keeps my facial hair on point and my skin moisturized. A great price at just over $9 ! It was $15.99 in stores.Extremely pleased with my purchase.

So I initially gave this a horrible review that was not posted because I must’ve phrased something that Amazon didn’t like. My first review really targeted the smell not being great before I had it on for more than an hour. I tried it a few more times and I feel like it’s the best beard cream I’ve ever used. I have a somewhat large beard and it keeps it soft all day and it doesnt really get matted nor do I have to “refresh” it or use beard balm. My wife said she actually likes the smell which was surprising to me. So the smell started growing on me. Works well on the “beardruff”

This does a good job at conditioning your beard and helping to make it more manageable, but it smells nothing like Palo Santo. And I know a thing or two about Palo Santo. I burn it all the time and love the smell of it. But this just smells like weird chemicals. My wife won't even kiss me when I'm wearing it. So it works, but the scent description is inaccurate.

I've tried a lot of things to get rid of the itching and the beardruff, I think I may have found the answer to my prayers! I've tried in vain for several months trying different beard washes and beard oils to stop the flakes in my scruff to no avail. I always stayed away from creams because i thought it would make the flaking worse, I was totally wrong on that one. Within the second or third time of using it (w/ a beard wash every other day) I noticed the flaking was just about gone! No longer would there be a snowy landscape on my chest from giving the facial forest a scratch or two! The smell isn't that bad, I've already gotten used to it. I get where people say it smells like a chemical (reminds of trombone slide oil, which brought back memories lol), but it's not a reason to stop using the product. It goes on easy, doesn't leave a greasy feeling and makes the beard look alot healthier. I had my wife give my beard a sniff and she said she could smell the scent, coconut or whatever i forget, but not the chemically smell and she was pleased. That smell doesn't seem to stay around long anyway. I'll be getting this cream until I decide to deforest my face (never!!!)
