Deep Moisture Facial Balm, 1 Fluid Ounce, Plant Rich Moisturizer with Sweet Almond Oil

I am a New York licensed at Esthetician and I already learned about Weleda products many years ago, and fell in love with them from the start. For my sensitive skin, Weleda’s almond mask was amazing. unfortunately they no longer carry it. The cream I’m writing about is called “deep moisture facial balm”. I love the way it feels, and my skin looks better as well when I put this on my face, especially during cold winter weather. I like this product and I will probably buy it again. I recommend it! And for those of you that are interested in biodynamic products: Weleda is one of those companies where they pretty much talk to the plants, flowers, and herbs on the farms where they grow their ingredients. On top of it all, the price is very reasonable so what more can we wish for?

The best face cream I've ever tried. I've been a big fan of the brand for a while now and am very happy to have found this particular product. Finally a facial cream that is rich and nourishing enough for my dry winter skin, with no ifs or buts. It protects my face during the harsh New England winter and is also the perfect remedy for raw winter hands. The smell is very pleasant even though the cream is fragrance free. Weleda is my favorite personal care brand by far, it's so nourishing and wholesome. "The company is fundamentally opposed to the use of animal testing." "NO chemical preservatives, fragrances or petrochemicals." My only complaint is that the container is quite small and doesn't last very long, especially if you use the cream for your hands as well. The product itself is just heavenly. Note: This product does not protect against UVA/UVB rays to the best of my knowledge. No big deal for me because I use it in the winter, but I would recommend additional protection if this product is used as day cream in the strong sun.

The first time I tried this moisturizer I thought it was too greasy . I had bought 2 so I returned the unopened one. When I tried the one I kept again I absolutely loved it! I am on my 4th order now! It moisturizes and makes your skin glow. I am a fan!!!

I would not consider this a cold cream- Skin Food is more of a cold cream than this. This product is, however, creamier than Skin Food and soaks in better (probably the alcohol). It doesn't feel like I'm slathered in lotion like with Skin Food. My face feels hydrated to the touch and looks dewey. The smell is not bad (unimpressive wildflowers, maybe?). So it's a great heavy lotion for winter skin with beeswax instead of mineral oil. My one concern is that I didn't read the ingredients until after bought it- I'm allergic to peanuts, so I might develop eczema, in which case I'll give it to my mom.

Finally a lotion that works. I have extremely dry skin, while simultaneously oily around my eyes and nose crevice. This is the product for you if you want to finally give your skin a chance to repair itself correctly and feel good about it. I have tried so many products I can't even begin to count. They are always too expensive, don't work, too oily, dries out skin, etc. This has no drawback, you can sleep with it on your skin and you actually feel the lotion being absorbed into your skin. Because it's natural, you get a lot more for your money (it's thicker and applies over more area compared to thin watery products that go by fast). This will last a little while even though it's 1 oz! I wasn't sure if I wanted to give Weleda a try or not, but my life is now changed because I did. If other products and brands aren't doing it for you, I HIGHLY recommend you give Weleda a chance. Also, some people said that the skin food works better for their dry skin. If this doesn't work you should give that one a shot. After I run out of this I will try it and compare the two. Thank you Weleda, you have a customer for life!

I'd like to thank Weleda for keeping all of their products cruelty-free, my kind of people/company. I found this balm to be the bomb, Pardon my silly play on words, but it is true, this is absolutely excellent for very dry aging as in over 60 skin. I use it every night and adore it. It makes my skin feel so smooth and soft in the mornings. The light scent is not bothersome so if you have a problem with scents you'll be just fine with this. It has sweet almond oil in it which is wonderful for dry skin or very dry skin such as mine. You only need a very small amount, I use a pea size amount and it works great for all-night hydration. I'm so happy I found WELEDA, great products at affordable prices, and the best part, drum roll please, cruelty-free! If you're in need of that something extra for very dry aging skin get this is amazing! UPDATE: Weleda, I love your balm but will you PLEASE consider making it in something other than this tube? This tube is extremely hard to get your product once it's on the low side, wish you would please put it in an easier-to-get container, now I know what others were complaining about. Thanks.

Huele a bosque, el bote me ha sorprendido porque es pequeño. Cunde bastante y es muy agradable. Se nota la piel algo matificada. Tb he comprado el jabón de limpieza facial.

This is the only cream that my daughter can use on her face. It doesn't cause any kind of reaction to her sensitive skin and it is nice and light.

Die Menge ist ziemlich gering und der Preis im Verhältnis dazu eher hoch, deshalb versuche ich, das Produkt sparsam zu verwenden, damit es wenigstens einen Monat hält. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. Meine Haut ist ziemlich fettig, aber diese Creme fettet meine Haut überhaupt nicht. Im Gegenteil – sie hat eine sehr leichte Textur, und wenn ich sie auftrage, fühlt es sich an, als hätte ich gar nichts im Gesicht. Die Konsistenz ist wirklich angenehm. Dass die Inhaltsstoffe biologisch sind, ist für mich ein großer Pluspunkt. Ich habe erst vor Kurzem mit der Anwendung begonnen, aber ich mag die Wirkung jetzt schon. Ich hoffe, dass es auf lange Sicht noch bessere Ergebnisse bringt. Es gefällt mir sehr, dass die Creme kein schweres Gefühl hinterlässt und ein frisches Hautgefühl gibt. Auch wenn der Preis etwas hoch ist, ist das Produkt meiner Meinung nach definitiv einen Versuch wert – dank seiner Inhaltsstoffe, der Textur und dem angenehmen Gefühl auf der Haut.

Ich habe eine Mischhaut mit glänzenden Partien und dem Hang zu Unreinheiten und leide seit wenigen Jahren dazu noch an Rosazea und vertrage seither viele Cremes gar nicht. Die Weleda leichte Mandelcreme hat nur 9 ausgewählte Inhaltsstoffe und ist für mich einfach perfekt. Die meisten Hersteller bringen leider nur Cremes für sensible und zugleich trockene Haut heraus. Da führen bei mir dann zwar nicht unverträgliche Inhaltsstoffe zu Rosazeaschüben sondern schlicht das zu viel an Fett. Um so mehr freue ich mich, dass Weleda auch an den sensiblen Mischhaut-Typ gedacht hat und neben der reichhaltigen Variante auch diese leichte Creme anbietet. Die Creme ist sehr ergiebig, lässt sich sehr gut verteilen und hinterlässt ein schön weiches, nicht klebendes Hautgefühl. Sie mattiert zwar nicht, aber meine Haut glänzt durch sie auch nicht mehr wie ich es sonst von vielen Cremes kenne. Sie ist parfumfrei, duftet auf Grund der Inhaltsstoffe ganz leicht nach Mandel. Ich mag das sehr. Hautreizungen werden schnell gemildert. Ich bekomme keine Unreinheiten, was sonst leider auch häufig der Fall ist. Ich kann diese Creme hier sehr empfehlen. Für alle mit Mischhaut, egal ob empfindlich oder nicht. Wer Rosazea hat: bei mir ist die Creme selbst während eines Rosazeaschubes therapiebegleitend (!) sehr gut verträglich gewesen. Nach Abklingen der Rosazea verwende ich sie einfach weiter als Tages- und Nachtcreme und kann mir sicher sein, dass sie zu keinem neuen Rosazeaschub führt.
