These are walnut haves, not pieces. Very fresh, good with breakfast or a little snack.

I'm very pleased with the quality of these walnuts. They are fresh and have a nice, mild flavor. The cost per ounce is quite good -- it's less expensive than many store brands (on a per-ounce basis). The only con for me is that there was a lot of walnut "dust" (tiny broken pieces) in the bottom of the sack. That's probably unavoidable since this can get bounced around a lot in transit. For me, the dust is not wasted (I fold it into cookie batter) but it would have been nice to have less of it. Good taste and a good value -- 4.5 stars

I used to buy this size bag (another brand) at Walmart and found these on Amazon for a much better value.
