Poor Mounting Design
I took a chance with this case, with hardly any reviews. Unfortunately the mounting system is poorly designed. The case itself is sufficient. Seems decently water tight, though I would not submerge it, but I am sure it will handle rain just fine. The big problem is how it connects to the bike. It uses a sort of track system, and you push it down until it snaps. But if it gets bumped upward in any way it is immediately gone. This was a problem when I first used it mountain biking. If you stand up to peddle there is a good chance you will bump it. I lost it about a half dozen times while riding. Luckily I had my headphones in and so immediately knew when it fell.I then used it for road biking the other day, thinking it would work better. But this time I made sure to tie some string from the case to my bars. After a couple small bumps it again fell off. This happened several more times and I finally gave up and stuck it in my jersey pocket. The only reason I gave this two stars is because the case itself is not to bad, though perhaps a little bulky. But the mounting system is horrible. And never even consider using it without some type of safety strap. If they were to figure out a better solution for this, then I would say it is worth the money. But otherwise it is not.

Terrible Case
Disclaimer: I ride trails and go on and off urban obstacles, such as curbs. The case would fall off almost on every bump (even tiny roots), as it does not fully lock in (just slides in, no locking). Additionally, the phone is not secure in the case: on one occasion, the case fell off the bike and opened upon hitting the ground, causing my unprotected phone to skip across the street. So obviously, I returned the product immediately. This might (and I still doubt this probability) work for cyclists that STRICTLY ride on smooth surfaces.

works well if it's not upside down
In general I've been happy with the stormcruiser; however, one day when riding I had maybe turned it upside down on the mount (it's pretty stable, which is why I think I turned it), and my phone, still in the protective case, fell out. I ran over my phone and it was slightly damaged, but the case protected it from a worse fate. I'm still using that phone.

Not good for the city
The case is fine enough but the attachment to the bike is flimsy and allows the phone to fly off at any bit of a bump. It might be good for very leisurely riding, but not for NYC biking.

finally
Finally a I Phone mount and case that actualy works. I have taken it out on a few rides now i ride primarily road and the stormcruiser has made it through all the bumps the clip that holds the case to the bars is very positive so i dont have to worry about it slipping off. it is made very well and worth every penny!

Cheap plastic, will probably break easily
Pictures are pretty deceiving. Had I gotten my hands on this product instead of falling for it's stylistic photos, I'd have realized it's about $7 worth of Chinese plastic.

Awesome device!
This is the best bike mount device ever! I love it! The mounting is easy, my iPhone is protected fully, and still easily accessible to use all the buttons since I listen to my music and map my rides on my bike!! Great Device!

I see a lot of comments about the case falling ...
I see a lot of comments about the case falling off the mount. I noticed it wasn't being held on securely until I did the following. the mount is 2 pieces. The one piece has to be connected to the case before it goes together, push it on til you hear a solid click. Then you can attach it to the other part of the mount that is on the handlebar. There is a push button on that piece to release. I ride rough trails and occasionally go for a tumble, that mount has yet to fall off. If anyone at "joy Factory" is reading this, include some simple instructions ....

plastic clip broke doing up the screw
When tightening the screw to do up the bracket, the clip can't take the tension - screw was still not tight when plastic on clip broke. - bad design. Either the clip is designed to only sit on a very small bar, or it needs to be more flexible... Was attempting to fix it to the thin handlebar, the clip was still loose and moving when the tension from the screw broke it.

A good idea, but not a good implementation
Re-upping as this seems to have reappeared on my Vine pending review list. This iPad case holder does seem to have all the cut-outs and button covers where it should, so from that point of view it's well-made and designed. However, the rugged design is very large and bulky and the holder clip to attach this to a bike, motor bike, or buggy handle is both bulky and a fiddly thing to use. The case is only weather resistant, not water proof - which is not ideal if you get caught in a real downpour as in those circumstances a rugged case that doesn't offer full protection against ingress of water can be more problematic than a really basic case. If water gets in to this type of case, it's harder to get the phone out than it is from a basic case - which leaves the phone stuck in a box with stare for longer, making it more likely that water will get in to the phone. A good idea, but this wasn't a great implementation.

Well Built
The case feels well built and is well weather sealed as well as a heavy-duty handlebar mount. There is a protective layer on the inside to absorb shocks in and to protect the iPhone. There is also a seal over the headphones jack so that water does not get in. Overall it is a well built mount to attach your iPhone to your bike whilst providing a level of protection. May be a little expensive but it feels well built. It is not the easiest system to fix this to your bike but once it is on, you can change the angle of the device easily.

Great piece of kit.
If you go out cycling, particularly on rough terrain and you want to use your iphone as a map, this product is just perfect. It means you have this on your handle bars and can easily see where you are and where you want to be heading, without having to stop every so often to pull out the iphone from a water-proof pouch etc etc.It secures your iphone good and proper to the handle bar so no matter how many bumps and jumps you go over, your iphone isn't going to fall out and smash to pieces. It is also water proof (I haven't tried dunking it in a bath tub) but from any rain this will protect your iphone.Should you fall off your bike, the case is very robust and will protect your iphone although you may be a bit worse for wear - at least you can always call for help :)Hope that helps.
