Great sata ssd
Nice for storage and good speed for gaming Not as much as the nvme but still great Mine stopped working after a power fluctuation The rma process was great from wd got mine replaced in 1 week

WD only name is enough.
My HP laptop, which came with Windows 10, began to run significantly slower after I installed Windows 11. For instance, it took 4-5 minutes to access the login screen, 10 minutes to reach the home screen, and it would hang when opening basic applications like Excel. However, replacing the HDD drive with an SSD drastically improved the laptop’s performance. I purchased the SSD at a discounted price on Amazon. I personally installed it in the laptop without any prior training, so it is very easy to install(unless you have the necessary tools, don’t attempt this yourself). The SSD is incredibly lightweight, making it almost imperceptible when placed on your palm. WD is renowned for its manufacturing quality, so its performance is also top-notch. Before installing the new SSD, I ensured that I backed up my data so there was no data loss incident. Got this ssd at lower price on amazon.

Super Thanks !! WD replaced with a New WD Blue SA510 drive after earlier purchased drive failed
Purchased in Sep 2022 and stopped working in May 2024 - less than two years. Was working fine so far but one fine day the laptop just failed to boot. On checking it became clear that the SSD had gone dead. Had reverted back to my HDD while i was checking on warranty claims process !! Update: 14 June 2024: Warranty claim is in process. Raised an RMA on the WD support portal and chose the over the counter handover of the old Update: 21 June 2024: Received a new WD Blue SA510 drive in lieu of the old one. Installed on 22June and it runs perfectly. Super thanks to Western Digital for the hassle free and seamless warranty replacement experience.

Not support customer care and amazon...1 month baad hard drive not work
After 1 month hard drive not work customer care not support when replace by customer support address then repaird drive and send refurbished hard disk....so wd hard disk now cover in SanDisk customer care for only repaird....

Perfect SSD for old PC
Amazing product received in perfect condition. It reduced boot time of my Core2Quad Pc and increased performance of it. Build quality is normal as usual and installation like normal SATA HHD

If you want speed buy it
One of the best investment I made this year, migrated my whole disk with less than 1 hour. 500gb capacity was more enough for me but higher the size it'll be more durable in life so purchase as per your requirement. Side I haven't used much will post any issues if arise in future. Speed test area awesome so tried realtime file transfer worked fine. Note: try check file transfer in ssd only if you're file transfering from hdd speed rates are limited to it, mine old hdd was 100mb speed max 108mb.
