This knight goes with the Papo horse #39759. He is fairly well detailed. The visor doesn't open. The heraldic emblems are not molded in but simply painted. The older figures by Papo have such details molded in and painted. However, this can be a plus if you want to change the images. You can do so with some acrylic paint. I don't care for how he sits on the horse. He is looking far to the left and his lance is also pointed too far left. That's an easy fix on Papo figures. All that is needed is a hairdryer and a bowl of ice cold water. For example, I directed the heat of the hairdryer (set on high) on his head which I had against a hard surface. This focuses the heat more than if you hold the piece in the air. I waited for a minute or so until the plastic became malleable, turned off the dryer and twisted his head so he was looking straight on, held it in place and immersed it in the water to set the plastic. You have to get it completely cold or it will work its way back to the original position. I did the same thing to his lance arm and now he sits astride his mount like he knows what he's doing. I have 22 chess sets displayed in my den, among other things. I use these Papo knights (and a rival company's knights) which reflect the armor of a number of medieval periods from the 12th to 16th century to enhance my chess sets. I say this just in case you're wondering what a full grown person is doing with children's toys! Now you know.
