I PURCHASED THIS TIFFANY STYLE CEILING LIGHT BECAUSE I HAVE SEVERAL TIFFANY STYLE LAMPS THROUGHOUT MY HOME, AND I LOVE THEM ALL. SO LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING THAT THIS GREEN GLASS WISTERIA CEILING LIGHT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! IT'S STUNNING IN MY KITCHEN, AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I'VE HAD IT HUNG FOR THE PAST WEEK AND EVERYONE WHO SEES IT ASK WHERE I GOT IT FROM, AND OF COURSE I HAVE TO TELL THEM AMAZON, BECAUSE THEY HAVE EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING THAT YOU MAY NEED. AND SHOPPING ONLINE IS MUCH EASIER THAN GOING OUT IN PERSON, PLUS WITH BEING AN AMAZON PRIME MEMBER I GET EVERYTHING SHIPPED TO MY HOME FOR FREE. OKAY NOW BACK TO THIS BEAUTIFUL GREEN GLASS WISTERIA CEILING LIGHT, THE CRAFTSMANSHIP IS ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT I EVER EXPECTED IT TO BE. IT'S MADE BEAUTIFULLY AND SHOULD LAST FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE BASE IS MADE FROM METAL AND IT IS A PRETTY DECORATIVE PIECE IN ITSELF. AND IT HAS THREE CHAINS WHICH ATTACH TO THE BASE AND ONTO THE SHADE ITSELF, AS THE SHADE HAS THREE HOOKS EMBEDDED INTO IT. THE ASSEMBLY WAS SUPER EASY! IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT 20 MINS TO INSTALL. THE TRICK WITH GETTING THE CHAINS TO FIT CORRECTLY IS IN THE EXTENSION BAR THAT ATTACHES TO THE BASE AND ONTO THE SHADE. YOU WILL NEED TO ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE EXTENSION BAR BY SCREWING THE NUT AND BOLT DOWN FURTHER ON THE EXTENSION BAR, AS SO THE EXTENSION BAR IS NOW SHORTER AND THE CHAINS WILL THEN EASILY ATTACH TO THE SHADE. OR, IF THE EXTENSION BAR ISN'T QUIT LONG ENOUGH, THEN SIMPLY SCREW THE NUT AND BOLT THAT'S LOCATED ON THE END OF THE EXTENSION BAR UPWARDS. DOING SO MAKES THE EXTENSION BAR LONGER AND IT WILL NOW EASILY ATTACH THE CHAINS TO THE BASE. MOVING THE NUT AND BOLT UP OR DOWN THE EXTENSION BAR CHANGES IT'S LENGTH, AND THIS MAKES IT EASY TO ATTACH THE CHAINS ONTO THE BASE AND THE SHADE WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL. NOW ONTO THE COLOR OF THE WISTERIA SHADE, IT'S A VERY PRETTY EMERALD COLOR WITH SOME LIGHTER GREEN SHADES THAT RUN THROUGH THE SHADE, AND WHEN THE LIGHT IS TURNED ON, IT'S SIMPLY BREATHTAKING! IT PUTS OUT JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF LIGHT THAT I NEED FOR MY KITCHEN! AND I LOVE HOW ROMANTIC IT FEELS, AND THE COZY FEELING IT GIVES TO MY KITCHEN. I GIVE THIS ITEM A PERFECT 5 STARS AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO MAY BE ON THE FENCE ABOUT PURCHASING IT TO JUST GO AHEAD AND GET IT. I ALSO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

I'm giving 5 stars because the lamp is so pretty, but the installation was definitely a 2-person job; and a shoddy one at that. On the latter, wiring was so easy but we aren't sure how secure that lamp is to the ceiling mount. Not only was it difficult to align the screws to the base's holes, it was hard to put the nuts on the ends. 1) lamp base's holes were at a diagonal to ceiling mount. 2) screws are just the right length, so little room for movement AND you gots to simultaneously align both screws into their respective holes in order to place on decorative nuts. 3) nuts seem a bit shallow and are what's basically holding the entire thing up. Those damn nuts! They were the bane of my existence. LOL, you could hardly place any pressure on the screw when putting on the nut or risk the screw slipping back inside the lamp base. But an hour and a rather sore neck later, it was installed and seems to be holding up well. Just don't let Sia come thru.

This lovely shade arrived well packed and quite timely. It is absolutely beautiful and we are enjoying having this installed over our kitchen table. You can mount it semi flush or add chains to bring it down. It is not super duper bright, as the description correctly states, but gives plenty of light. A wonderful purchase, and thank you!

My electrician just finished installing this beautiful light fixture. He said it was super simple and straight forward for those do-it-yourselfers. I put in two 60W daylight LED bulbs. I certainly wouldn't use this as my only lighting in a room that required bright task lighting, but for overall lighting it is stunning. Mine is in a laundry room that also has under counter lighting and it is more than enough. I thought this was a very good price for such a gorgeous light. Makes me so happy every time I walk into that room!
