Bought to store bird food in, but it is not clear from the images (unless I am blind) in the listing that there are gaps between the slats on all sides, so you wouldn't want to leave this anywhere where it would get wet any time it rained.I am returning because the drill holes in the centres of the front and back panels do not match up with the blocks you have to screw in to hold the slatted base and on either side they only drilled one hole instead of two. I have better things to do than drill holes in a product which cost £122!!Nice wood, though!

There are two compartments in the box which is not in the description, had to reconfigure to fit our long seat cushions, also the waterproof liner was useless because that was split in two also. Will have to reline it. The inside is much smaller than the outer box as there is a large over hang on the lid, measure carefully.

Two aspects to this product I was not satisfied with. Firstly the base was broken at a point where a screw thread was evident. Secondly the waterproofing, by which I mean the plastic inner, was far from adequate and proved less than effective in keeping contents dry.

Not sure yet it’s weatherproof, recent purchase. I have fixed a solid top to it just as an extraIt’s smaller than I realised and on reflection a bit expensive.

This is really good. In my view it is worth the asking price and looks good near our back door. I am very happy with this purchase.
