I was a bit skeptical that any of the recipes would be tasty when I saw that most (if not all) of the recipes are gluten free and call for a lot of buckwheat, amaranth, and a lot of other grains that are not known for being delicious, but healthy. I've made a lot of baked goods that are sugar and gluten free and they are barely digestible, and on a good day you can talk yourself into thinking they are kind of OK. However, these recipes are actually REALLY GOOD. I have made the Buckwheat and Seeded Bread and it has now replaced my morning English muffin - it's very tasty and filling and really easy to make. Last night I made the Beetroot and Chocolate Brownies and I am stunned to report that I think they are better than regular brownies, and knowing that they are added sugar free is amazing! I have also made nearly all of the breakfast recipes and the Rainbow Chard Tart - all of which have been really filling, delicious, and satisfying. I was sure this was just going to be a very pretty book to add to my cookbook collection, but I am using it on a daily basis and my digestion and energy levels have really improved. I highly recommend the book! Review: Obsessed - I am obsessed with this cookbook. Loving the incredibly healthy recipes and beautiful pictures. Excellent presentation! I have made the zoodles and the carrot cake with labneh frosting. Wowza! Delicious!

Awesome Book
I purchased this used and then realized it had meat recipes, I am vegan. I am so happy that I wasn't able to cancel it because it is wonderful. Packed with loads of great information and plenty of wonderful recipes for me to try. I am now going to purchase her other books and some of her products.

Worthy of the Cookbook Collection
I was pleasantly surprised to find this a true cookbook with good narratives, easily acquired foods, nothing too eccentric and a well-balanced selection of meal options. There is nothing super preachy or kooky. I have no idea if the science is true, but it seems like following this type of lifestyle would have its advantages. There are a few disappointments, one of which is the recipe for Middle Eastern-spiced Walnut and White Bean Balls. The narrative describes this as a dish made great by the use of ras el hanout and za'atar. Neither of those ingredients can be found in the recipe details, however. There are similar types of herbs and spices used, but it seems it was a last minute decision to make the ingredients more commonplace, without amending the author's notes. I haven't scoured each recipe in the book for similar errors or omissions and this is by no means uncommon in today's rush-to-publish environment, but it is frustrating. It's a beautiful book, formatted in a modern style with Insta-worthy photos and, overall, I'm happy to have it on the shelf.

I love this cookbook so much that I purchased one for ...
I love this cookbook so much that I purchased one for my mom as well. The photos are gorgeous, the matte paper is sophisticated, and most importantly - the recipes are delicious. I was a little worried they'd be complicated, and I'd have difficulty finding the ingredients, but she uses many of the same ingredients throughout, which makes purchasing things like Almond Flour not so bad.

Great effort, taste not that much
As an avid collector of cookbooks I have come to conclude there are two spesifics to a good book: the measurements in the recipes are accurate and the end result is as tasty as the photos. For this book the recipes are very accurate in measure but honestly the recipes tasted awful. I tried several but still the same. I’m giving it 3 starts for the beautiful photos and the obvious effort and it contains the basics such as almond milk and Kambucha. Sadly would not recommend it for tasty food.

Great book for skincare junkies!
I have a tendency to buy cookbooks and not use them, this one if different! I love this book. My only problem is that the book is so beautiful and it's getting marks on it from using it so much in the kitchen. If you are a skincare junkie like me, you will love it.

Love it!
This book is huge! I was really impressed with the size and quality, there’s tons of recipes and information on the best ingredients for skin, etc. The recipes are super unique so if you aren’t into unique foods then I wouldn’t get it, otherwise I totally recommend!

I have many food intolerances and there are lots of recipes in this book that I can use without needing to substitute (or with minimal changes)

Many of the items in this cookbook take time (or days) to make, but it's worth it. The food is delicious and packed with nutrition. I first borrowed it from the library to make sure it was a good fit and purchased immediately.

I’ve now tried a few recipes, savoury and sweet, and they all tasted delicious. The only thing is, best to have a blender that crushes ingredients like dates really well so no bits end up in a smoothie.
