Good percolator
This little pot is perfect for brewing old fashion coffee. The pot heats the water up nicely and perks just like my mom and dad used to make in the 70's. The stainless steel means no plastic brewing system. The flavor is fantastic! Now could this be the coffee maker or the pot? It takes two to tango!!

Excellent stainless quality percolator outdoes drip coffee maker.
I bought this percolator as an experiment to test the coffee it makes with my drip coffee maker. Well it makes more and better coffee using less grounds making it more efficient, nice hot coffee stays that way a long time and smells like Grandma used to make. Excellent stainless steel quality doesn't stain and easily cleans up, easy to use, and great value will last for years, and dome on top can be unscrewed, easily cleans, and is thick and sturdy.

Beat Coffee
I’m a coffee lover and have no shortage of means to make coffee (4 before this). Was watching an RV show that was highlighting the options for making coffee without electrical. Percolator! That’s how I grew up. Bought this and it’s my weekend coffee maker and it makes great coffee. Product quality is very good, from the pot to the glass top. All good quality. Rediscover good coffee and go percolator.

Pretty Good though Not Perfect
I've had this percolator for a week now. I like it, but it could be improved, though maybe at a higher price point. I use it on a gas range. The one I have is electroplated copper-colored (I think it's electroplating, but not sure), and its copper plating on the bottom is already flaking off a bit. Not a big area, but still ... Kind of disappointing, but, again, price point issue. Also, the percolator top, knob, globe, or whatever you want to call it, is plastic, not glass. I was hoping for glass. The handle is plastic, too. It does remain relatively cool to the touch immediately after perking. It's not cool, per se, but it's not hot and can be comfortably handled without gloves. It works very well. It makes good coffee. The coffee basket that holds the grounds takes a while to drain back into the pot after perking. I percolate the coffee for eight minutes then wait at least another five minutes for the coffee in the basket to drain back into the pot. Even then there's still liquid coffee sloshing around in the grounds, but it's not a lot. The holes are really slots that are punched into the metal basket. It's their design that makes the draining slow, but what the design also does is prevent bits of grounds from making their way into the coffee pot, and it's very good at that. There's very little sediment at the bottom of the pot, and that's what slows down the draining. Fair tradeoff. However, the way the slots are punched in the metal makes cleaning the basket and its top a bit trickier. I like to use a brush, but the slots catch and tear the bristles. Still, I like the pot. It's a good deal at the price. It does what it's supposed to do, and that's to make great coffee.

Great little percolator
I find this percolator to be helpful in reducing use of plastic like the drip style. The only thing is please DO NOT follow the directions it came with because the coffee has to perk the directions say to take off when it starts perking making for colored water. And depending on how strong you like it , it needs more time to perk. It took me a few tries to get it right but it does make a good cup of coffee. It also is cleaner since it needs to be washed after use.

Works great, takes time, love it!
I love my percolator! I’ve only used it twice, but I grew up using percolators when we went camping. The reviews, especially the negative ones, were helpful in knowing what not to do. I learned and was cautious not to put the burner up too high. I also placed tin foil on the handle as a precaution so it won’t melt, though I keep the pot on the very edge of the burner so the handle isn’t over the heated element. I set the stove to 5 (Med power) and timer to 10 mins, then added another 10, and it started percolating at 20 mins (clear water in the clear part of the lid). At 22 mins, the coffee was showing and percolating, so I turned the burner to low. I poured the coffee and was a little worried the lid might come off, but it didn’t. I’d probably still hold the lid to be safe. Makes perfect coffee. Just make sure you allow enough time in the morning for it to brew. Enjoy! 😊

This little thing looks good and is amazing
I really like it took me a little bit to learn how long to leave it percolating for for me it's 4 and 1/2 to 5 minutes after it starts to percolate. My only complaint is a fill line inside is very hard to see. Other than that no complaints at all I really seem to like it and it seems like it should last. Percolated coffee taste really good and I do use it with filtered water and a coffee filter. I would say a coffee filter for me to keep settlement out is a must.

It says in the online details and description: “Perfect Accessory: Our perculator pot has a removable coffee filter, filter basket, pump tube, and easy-pour spout. Traditional design to provide elegant hot coffee anytime without a spill. Dishwasher safe!!” Yet in the Clean and Care Instructions, clause 3 it says: “3. Wash by hand and can dry by soft cloth. This product is not suitable for dishwasher, microwave or oven”.

The stainless steel is not very thick and seems quite flimsy. It is a percolator so takes ages to boil and percolate the coffee to a decent strength. Very good if you need several cups/mugs of coffee all at the same time. You would need to cover it with a cosy if you wanted to keep the coffee warm after percolation as the metal is too thin to keep warmth in. I like the glass knob so that you can see when the coffee has reached the desired strength. It has a close fitting lid and the handle seems robust. It looks good and percolates well.
