I use this lock in our business, it works perfectly, it keeps the door secure and locked, it is pretty affordable, it does not get in the way of closing or opening the door, and it is a great size. Door stays secured while locked!

These came with everything needed to install, saving me time when it really counted. So far they have functioned beyond expectations. This lock holds tight and was a great value in my opinion.

The holding force of this magnetic lock is solid and works well as advertised. However, the included screws are very cheap and prone to stripping or breaking during installation. I strongly recommend using your own higher-quality screws for a secure and trouble-free setup. The power connector design is a major flaw. The circuit board is positioned right next to the end cap, leaving almost no space to insert and tighten the wires without risking damage. Attempting to do so will likely break the solder connection on the board. To avoid this, you must remove the end cap and either move the board inward or connect the wires with the end cap off. Overall, this lock can be a decent choice if you have the tools, knowledge, and patience to deal with its shortcomings. It's priced well for what it offers, but if you're looking for something easier to install and more reliable out of the box, consider a better-made alternative.

This Mag Lock works as intended. I connected it up to a 12v tigger + relay on a home automation system and it works well. 2 things to consider: 1) The brackets are not adjustable. So when you measure and intall the magnetic part, you have to be exactly precise. It would be nice if they were slots instead of holes so you could adjust by minor amounts as needed. Not a huge deal, just quality of life. 2) It does not come with rubber gaskets/washers for the metal plate. It does come with plastic washers. But mag locks typically work best when the metal plate can pivot slightly on a single anchor point in the middle. (because the mag will not latch on if the plate is not squared up with the mag part perfectly so the pivoting allows this to happen). The rubber washers/gaskets are more flexible than the included plastic ones. So you might want to have some small rubber gaskets handy and mount the mag/plate appropriately. But I was able to get mine to work with their plastic ones with some adjusting. I have gone back and purchased a second one of these for another cabinet. So they work well.

I purchased this in February and just installed it yesterday. Installed just fine and the mounting bracket was great. Now after 1 day of use it is dead. 12vt goes to it but now nothing. And now it's outside the return window.

I installed this on my garage entry door for added security. It works great! Installation isn’t too bad if your’re handy.

Works perfectly as described. Easy to install. Great hold.
