This gel is amazing. It's not a slimy feeling gel. Being water based it glides on and is very cooling on the skin. ( not that a would reccomend doing this) .I can imagine it could help ease the soreness from sunburn due to the cooling factor and the way it feels hydrating your skin. I have an underactive thyroid so my skin is very dry. This really helped from the 1st application. I will continue to use this going forward. I can highly recommend. My family are also trying it out now based on my recommendation.

I had CO2 laser on my face and neck, this Aloe Vera is a game changer as it has no alcohol so I could slather it on, it relieved the burning straight away. I keep it in the fridge and cover my face in it every night and neck even though my face has been healed for weeks as it is so hydrating. I love it, will use so much in the summer too.

It's good value for money

The gel sinks in quickly, with no greasy residue, so I could rub it in on the van, on concrete-dusty arms, or on a sunburn and still hop into the van without looking like a glazed donut. Since using it regularly I’ve noticed: Scrapes, small cuts and nicks — common working-on-pipes side effects — heal faster and don’t look like a crime scene. Dry, rough skin from cement dust or cold mornings now feels softer and less tight. After sun exposure (like jobs outside) — redness reduces quicker than leaving it untreated. Even minor irritations (from heat, friction, or harsh materials) calm down without needing fancy creams. It’s surprisingly versatile — use it on your face, hands, sun-baked skin, or random scrapes from a day on the job. And because it’s 100% pure (no heavy perfumes or weird extras), it’s gentle enough even for sensitive skin. The only caveat: if you’ve never used aloe before, maybe test a small patch first — a few people are allergic or sensitive. Five stars. Great product, but would have preferred a seal under the lid when opening

Very cooling, used it after doing laser at home it soothed my skin and made it shine no irritation at all as it is fragrance free. Recommend it for anyone who is wishing to use it as after care and have sensitive skin.
