What is the BMW part number and it is available to order at a dealership?

It's "licensed" but not produced by BMW... a dealer would only have it if they purchased from an outside source. Made in China, BTW.

Beautiful kit. but the wire that activates the piston lights is about two inches too short. is there a remedy for this?

Try different routings - I found one that just barely made it - plug the wire in first, then mount the motor on the base. Alternately, cut the wire, solder in an extension as needed.
