Really pleased with these knives, they seem to be good quality and are good value. The knife is all one piece, so there's no sections to break or snap off and nowhere for water to get in over time. The blades are sharp and cut well. The handles are comfortable in the hand and the knives have a reassuring weight to them. Very pleased with my purchase and happy to recommend this product.

I really have to update my review as I've had these for a year now. 2025: I've been using these almost daily for a whole year and haven't had to sharpen them yet. I do use a honing steel to make them slightly sharper before use every once in a while. They've been doing a stellar job. Absolutely fantastic knives. They still effortlessly slice through anything that needs cutting and chopping. There's not a single scratch on them. The non-stick is still holding on without any signs of damage. Just don't use these on glass or porcelain and don't put them in the dishwasher. That would dull any knife and since these have a non-stick layer it's just better to wash them by hand. They will be with you for a very long time, especially given the low cost. As a home cook you really can't go wrong with these knives and if I ever have to buy a new set I'd definitely get these again. I almost dare say if you're looking at a professional brand like Wusthof, but you're on a bit of a tighter budget... These are the bomb. Of course they're not made for use in professional kitchens where they'd be used for hours on end every day for years on end. There is only so much you can expect for the price. Though for home use these are the n°1 knives I've ever owned and will keep as my primary knives of choice for years to come. ---- 2024: These are the best knives I've ever bought. Super sharp, even after many months of use. They do a great job cutting and slicing through everything with ease. If you're thinking of buying a new knife set, get these ones. You won't regret buying these.

Bought these in December 2024, very good knives. Precision cutting, chopping, slicing etc. Very sharp. Well made. Fast forward to December 2025 and the black coating is coming off and going into food, hence we have had to stop using them. The seller has been excellent and provided a full refund even though we are, only just, outside of the warranty period.

As the title says really. Love the fact these are black and they have a nice decent handle for ease of use. The size and weight of the knifes is really good as you don't want something with too much weight. Also the fact they have what type of knife they are printed on the side and comes with a sheath for each one. Plus you get a booklet with an explanation of each knife making an excellent set of first knives for someone. They cut very well and cleaning them after use is very easy. No rust so far, after they've dried on the rack as they are not dishwasher safe, I give them a wipe down to remove any water spots so they look good as new with every use. I would recommend.

I needed a new set of Chef Knives and the read up and pictures did them justice. They are very attractive, comfortable, easy to use, lightweight as they are chef knives not for hard labour. The black design, and the name says it all. And with this set you truly do get a great deal and quality. The split sheath's are a great addition making it easy to put them away without damaging the blades. I'm 1,000% satisfied and gladly recommend.

Looks good, works good and is reasonably priced! Great set of knives. I also like the protective sheaths they come with - those protect the hands as much as the knives! Be careful though - these are sharp! I sliced a bit of skin off my fingers by mistake on day 1!

These knives are great. We are avid deer hunters and we process our own deer meat. These knives stayed sharp through the whole process of one deer and usually we have to sharpen in between. We are looking into buying a few extra for when we both are working of the deer at the same time or just to have extra on hand.

Good value for money, ergonomic but could use heavier weight in handle. Only used it a couple times so far, great steak knife. Not a premium knife but price is not premium either so a good value. If the handle felt heftier with more weight I would it give it 5 stars instead of 4. Still a good value and I would buy again.
