These stainless steel spider skimmers feel sturdy and the three sizes are super handy for noodles, dumplings, and frying tofu. They drain oil fast and are easy to clean, even in our cramped apartment sink. Only downside: the handles are not long and get a bit hot if I’m juggling multiple pans.

I make a lot of chicken soup and I always get a white thick foamy substance on top that I hate and I’ve tried for years to figure out better ways of skimming it. I saw this and decided to try it. Where has this been all my life!? I can now scoop soups or anything else of the scum that comes to the top without removing all the fat that gives it flavor that also resides on the top. I’m going to also order now the one that’s about a 3 inch for other different broths that I use in smaller pans. Is gadget is a real winner and has saved me years of frustration and with great efficiency! So simple!
