Adorable! Purchased as a gift. It is a bit smaller than expected. Not sure what the 8" dimension is in reference to - maybe height with the crest. Very soft, very cute, I'm sure it will go over well. I included a photo with it in my hand for scale - it's about grapefruit sized. Shipped quickly. 4 stars because the description is for a budgie plush so I didn't know exactly what to expect when I ordered it.
