I bought this one (November 2024) as a Low-profile VISUAL Theft-Deterrent, as my vehicle has an Immobilizer and Alarm built in. So far I am 100% pleased with its overall performance: It's smaller & NICER LOOKING than the "Club" and takes only seconds to install. Yet, it's still visible enough to DETER Car thefts. It's easy to store; the lock seems solid and smooth. I especially like that you don't have to use the key to lock it, after installing it onto the Steering wheel - it locks automatically! Based on other negative reviews about the built-in alarm and "stuck key" issues, I was aware and prepared: I immediately oiled the lock with some Teflon lubricant (see link below) and did NOT bother using the alarm feature -- it simply was not important to me. I recently purchased the Tevlaphee Steering Wheel Lock with Alarm for my 2023 Challenger, and I’m happy to share my experience. Overall, this product proved to be an effective security measure, and I’m relieved it was in place during an attempted theft. While someone did manage to break into my car and ransack the interior, the steering wheel lock held firm. The thief caused some damage in their efforts, but the lock’s performance was admirable; it did not budge under pressure. Although the thief was able to disable my car's alarm by removing a fuse and attempted to silence the lock's alarm with a tool—resulting in some damage to the Tevlaphee lock itself—it remained securely in place. I truly believe that without this lock, the situation could have turned out much worse. While I did incur about $4,500 in damages to the car, I’m grateful that the lock prevented a complete theft. I’ve already ordered a replacement for the damaged lock because I want to ensure my car remains protected. If you’re looking for a robust additional layer of security for your vehicle, I highly recommend the Tevlaphee Steering Wheel Lock with Alarm. It may not be foolproof, but it certainly does its job well and offers peace of mind.

It wouldn't release off my steering wheel one day for no obvious reason and after successfully using it other times. A locksmith had to cut it off my steering wheel leaving me with $170 bill for being able to get my car back. There is no customer service number/means of contacting Tevlaphee on their website despite posting customer service hours. Amazon did not have a customer service number for Tevlaphee. So how does Tevlaphee stand behind their product if you can't reach them? The only way I could get a response was to post a question about the product and they responded but not to my problem. You know they won't pay my bill although they should. The locksmith cut the bar between the two braces to get it off my steering wheel. LATER...update: Tevlaphee said they have insurance to cover the locksmith but I had to go through Amazon to get it. Now I can't figure out how to get a hold of a person from Amazon to process it. They make it such that you won't pursue it....and I think I have finally given up seeing any money to compensate for having to have a locksmith cut off the lock.

This works great and is very easy to use ! After a couple of young guys almost got away with my husbands car at work we decided to purchase this,. The security guard literally scared the two criminals away at the last second . Since he still wants to drive that car to work the police suggested a club . This seems a lot sturdier and has an ear piercing alarm. So far so good !🤞🏻

So far I guess this is a deterrent for casual thieves..It's the guys who can take 4 wheels off in 20 seconds is who I'm worried about...ONE THING ABOUT THIS DEVICE: YOU MUST CLOSE AND LOCK IT VERY GENTLY..I MEAN SOFT AND GENTLY..If you don't, it will be difficult to unlock..The key will turn the lock but the locking mechanism won't disengage..You will need to bang it with a wrench with the key in it, to open the lock.

This lock is best ever secure heavy duty, strong, has tampering alarm...

The siren mechanism on it is loud. The sheer heavy duty looks and blinking red alarm light is definitely a deterrent. Had it for 7 months so far and still havent changed the batteries. Only thing is, it might be an awkward fit for some vehicles where it might not close completely but still locks. Also can scratch up your steering wheel. I solved the problem by using electrical tape around the 4 teeth of the wheel gripping part. Overall definitely worth the investment to protect against against auto theft.

L'antivol est très costaud. Il est facile à utiliser, facile à poser et à mettre en service. La seule précaution il faut tourner le volant avant d’arrêter la voiture, pour qu'une des barres du volant soit verticale et fixer l'antivol sur cette barre. Dès lors que l'antivol est posé et serré sur la barre du volant, la fonction électronique se met en fonctionnement après une temporisation, il reste à sortir de la voiture. En rentrant dans la voiture une temporisation nous donne le temps de mettre la clef dans la serrure et de desserrer l'antivol, l'alarme électronique se désactive. L'alarme fonctionne avec 3 piles AAA alcalines, non fournies.
