Tandy Leather Trifold Wallet Insert 1442-00, Lightweight

Not clear to me why this can be sold as a trifold insert, other than, yes, it does fit in a trifold wallet. But what I received looks like a bifold insert to me. Still, it can be used in a trifold wallet and I'm keeping it. It has fewer compartments than the trifold insert by Amity that came with my wallet so many years ago. Which leads me to: More and more things sold here at amazon are presented in ways that can lead to mistaken purchases. You have to be cautious to the point of paranoia in some areas and never just go by what's pictured. That said, in this case, maybe I should have looked at the picture more closely. Caveat caveat - never mind the current tempora and mores.

Well, I personally do not love it, but my husband does. I order one for him approximately once a year. It is worth the money. He keeps all his cards in this insert in his wallet. Whenever we go shopping he is taking out, and putting back in, his license and credit card(s!) He gets his monies worth out of it!We would recommend it!!

Poor quality material, avoid this product. The insert came as promised and appeared to be the perfect fit and answer for the number of cards I needed to carry, but within 2-3 months of use, the tab used to anchor the insert into wallet cracked and broke off leaving the insert to float around in my trifold risking dropping and/or loss. My previous wallet insert lasted many (many) years - same wallet, same usage pattern, same wear. Just more cheap crap masquerading as quality goods that make hidden inflation (having to replace supposedly equal quality items of similar cost at higher and higher rates) far more treacherous than government-stated inflation.

I've ordered one other one recently and this one is the best for my bi-fold wallet. It has 6 pages for cards, photos, etc. The actual dimensions are 3 11/16" wide x 2 13/16" long but my drivers license & cards easily fit; photos need to be trimmed slightly. One good thing about this insert is that the plastic backing that slips into the wallet pocket is the same size as the other 6 sheets so it stays secure in the wallet.11 months later: I still like this insert but the plastic sheet that slips into the wallet started tearing a couple months ago and now I've replaced it with a new insert. On this one I took a strip of the 2" clear packing tape and wrapped it around the sheet inserted into the wallet to give it more strength, not sure if it will help or not.

Husband needed a new picture/ card holder and you can't find them in any stores. I knew Amazon would have what he needed and once again I wasn't disappointed. It was exactly what he wanted.
