My girl is 9 (almost 10), and plus size at 4'1" tall and about 100-110 lbs (I think). According to the size guide measurements, she needed a size XL and that proved to be accurate. We had a really hard time finding a good fit for her at the local Walmart because she had to go up in size but that also meant less coverage than I'm comfy for my 9 year old to have. Anyway this suit came in today and she tried it on (see pics) and it fits perfectly and may even have room for next year! (She is wearing underwear with it to try on since we didn't know if we would have to return it or not. That's why it looks bunched in that area) I originally opted for the black and pink one but that was going to take much longer to get here so I decided on the pink one since it only took 2 days shipping. I really liked that. It's worth it and I recommend this to anyone who has a little plus size girly. Just take measurements and compare to the size chart because it was accurate for us!! She is happy that she has a swimsuit that doesn't show parts of her body she is self conscious about and I'm happy she has a suit that fits right in all the right areas and does not showcase her girly assets no matter how much movement she makes. Overall, she is happy and that makes one very happy mama!!

LOVE this swimsuit! Not only is it absolutely adorable with its classic black design and bows, but it also provided the perfect fit and comfort for my daughter. We got so many compliments on it. I found that the 6-8 years option was a perfect fit for my daughter, who typically wears a size 6/7. So far it has washed well - retaining its shape and color without showing signs of fading.

This is the only one I buy for my daughter, who is ten. She swims two times a week all year. She's skinny, and this one fits her better, neither too tight or too loose. The fabric is excellent, and the entire front side has fantastic lining. It also has very light padding on the front. Fabric does not stick to the skin, which is a nice thing. I bought three times; the last time I got a black one and did not follow the washing directions, so the elastic in the cloth started tearing off. I purchased two additional black and pink ones. This time, after swimming, I cleaned in planin water to eliminate the bleach water, then machine washed in cold water and hand dried. So far, no problems. If it still wears out, ill buy again.
