The finish is matte good for reflection prone situation.

The antiglare is achieved with a matte finish rather than an actual antiglare coating that cuts certain frequencies of light from being reflected. The problem with those coatings is they're fingerprint magnets. With this matte finish version, the glare isn't really reduced, it's just diffused into a softer reflection instead of a glossy mirrored reflection. Think of the difference in shininess between a polished apple and an unpolished apple. The matte finish also gives sort of a noisy/grainy appearance on the screen due to the bumpy texture of the material. It's not extreme by any means, but it can be a little distracting when you're checking your display for focus and image quality. If antiglare is really important to you, I'd say give this a try. But if image clarity is more important, I'd recommend going with a more expensive tempered glass version. They tend to go for around $20-25 apiece.
