I am so impressed with this device. I've been searching for the perfect "airbrush finish" for so long, and this spinning brush delivered it to me! It seems to smooth my small bumps, fine lines and the big pores on and around my nose so much more effectively than a sponge or a typical brush! I also used such a small amount of foundation with this brush. I think Blendsmart will pay for itself because my foundation lasts at least twice as long, not to mention that it saves me a bunch of time as I can perfect my foundation in half the time vs. before. . I was so impressed I tried using this for my serum. I think I like this rotating brush even better for my serum application! Ir seems to get my skin to absorb the serum much more effectively. I think I use about the same about of serum, as I do when I use my fingers for serum application, but I feel much more hygienic when I use my Blendsmart. I'm going to buy another head for this so I can swap them out for serum and foundation. There are 7 different heads, including one just for skincare, so I’m getting that one. The Blendsmart runs on a typical battery. It does not plug in to recharge. I clean the brush head every couple days as the head separates from the base so it's easy to do. Just as background, I hate using makeup sponges. So much product gets absorbed into the sponge, every time I clean my sponges, I just see money flowing down the drain as all the foundation that was absorbed into the sponge just gets wasted! It’s also sort of gross that the sponge had all that foundation in there. I also felt that applying with a sponge just took forever to blend properly. I use a 30x lighted mirror, so I'm pretty picky as I vlog and I learned the hard way that blending is really the key to looking great when magnified! I love my Blendsmart! I think it's my favorite new skincare device this year!

Really nice makeup applicator. Works well, my serums and lotions go on so nicely with it.
