Works with Type C External Monitors (where the laptop doesn't support USB 3.1 alt DP)
I have looked up a lot of solutions to make my Lenovo M14 (Type C Monitor) to work with my laptop (which didn't support ALT DisplayPort Support)If you are looking for a similar solution, go for it.Only thing you lose out on is power passthrough - so you'd need 2 power supply.
