Solar charge controller to lithium batteries
My solar charge controller takes a bare wire connection and my batteries use the SAE port, so this was perfect to wire into the charge controller and then have the extension cable to run to the port on my travel trailer.

Put your solar collector where the sun shines
I installed a solar float charging system on my boat for winter storage. It takes the hassle of removing and storing marine batteries over the winter. You see more and more boats stored on the hard with solar panels. The problem is that the cable to the panel is short and people cut holes in their cover to get to the sun. I solved that problem with the Sunway Solar 16FT Battery Charger Extension Cable SAE Connectors With Ring Terminal and pigtail connector. It has the connections needed to make a plugged connection to the battery float system and run the cable out from under the cover without cutting the weather/rodent protection. The connections are color coded so you can also use an AC charger to start the storage season right. I will probably use the Sunway Solar 16FT Battery Charger Extension Cable to set up a solar system for the bilge pump battery on the mooring.

Handy collection
I seem to need something in this kit frequently while playing with my solar systems. It is a nice kit to keep around.

Caution w Polarity.
Overall you might give this 4 stars, but for the awkwardness of having to remember the polarity issues. A picture even shows red battery clamp to red battery terminal. One might thing that the workers were reading British texts, which continued use of electron flow from positive to negative, despite that being disproven many decades ago. I had to reverse the clamos.as a temporary measure. Long term I will need to address this issue for sake of my sanity! Another pic shows a 7A controller and 100 Watts, but the instructions give a 4A limit. Both may be true. 18 ga can just barely handle 7.5 A, per charts, but they also state 100W. 100w/13.8v=7.25A. But 18ga w 4A gives a typical, (2 times,) margin of safety and that means my 40W solar panel is a nice maximum for this wire kit. I suggest 50W and 5A as a real life maximum for this 18ga kit, despite that it may handle 7A & 100W under ideal circumstances. But DAng that polarity in thing. I worked in electronics for 50 years, and to work with reversed colors can drive you to drink. Follow *their advice* and Don't. It will just make things worse.
