Nice heft for jumping. Had to shorten the rope for the 5 year old to use it more easily.

This jump rope is just weighted enough that it's easy to jump predictably with it. Young and old. If you want to go fast and get exercise, or if you just want to learn how it's great.

These jump ropes are not cheap plastic or super light. They feel like a very hard rubber with the perfect weight. They are small segments so it makes a perfect arch for a jump rope and length adjustmentis much more specific. The best thing is they are adjustable by small increments so I could make one smaller to a much more specific length and put the extra pieces in a bag. Much nicer than the traditional hard plastic ones from the eighties.

My daughter is a tall 7 and it’s still a bit long for her but it’s made well and will work for years to come. The pieces are rubber not plastic for those that care.
