The meter base at a house on the Oregon coast corroded enough that a knockout seal came out. Once I had cleaned up the opening, I had a 3 and one-half inch hole to cover. The PUD would only accept a knockout seal and one that big is hard to find. But here it is! For a reasonable price and arrived in a few days. I installed it yesterday and it fit perfectly. In short, it worked exactly as advertised.

Works like it should

It’s got a 4.5” full diameter, might be normal for these kind of things but I’m not an electrician so I didn’t expect that and it’s too big for my electrical box, 4 stars because of painless return. Please add the full diameter to the description for DIYers

Worked for what I wanted

This knock-out seal is for a nominal 2-1/2" conduit hole, but fits an actual measured 3" sized hole. I had a 3" hole in some sheet metal and this fit perfectly.
