Size XS for 30" waist skinny fit
i'm male, 5'8", 130 lbs, 30" waist with 31-32" inseam. i ordered the XS solely based on waist size of the chart (xs said its waist ranges from 29-30"). it fits like a true skinny fit jean, which was what i was after. if you want a more relaxed fit, you'll have to size up. the waist fits fine - it has some stretch to it so felt comfortable for my 30" waist. even though the chart indicated inseam as 30.7", it felt much longer. the jean material is elastic, so it can stretch everywhere. its also thicker in material than your typical skinny fit jean, but it's not comparable to actual motorcyle jeans, which are thicker and feel more tear resistant. the hip pads slot into pockets on the inside and are not bulky. i've had some hip pads in other pants that made my hips look wide. the kneepads have two positions, but ive found even on the lowest position, sitting on a motorcyle with a lot of knee bend and seat pushing the inseam up, that the pads are too high up. it provides SOME protection, but is not in the ideal spot. if im on a cruiser, then the pads will probably sit ok. the backpockets feel really low though. i thought it would bother me if i store my wallet there but it hasnt been a problem (i dont ride with my wallet in my pockets anyways so the backpackets are kinda moot). regular and leg pockets are great. durability wise it feels like your standard department store skinny jeans, so im pretty sure its going to have that standard light jean level of protection, ie: it'll provide SOME protection, but more than likely will tear. so far tho, i like them for the fit and price. i will continue to use them on my rides until i can find another more protective pair of motorcycle jeans with the same style fit and armor. will update on durabilty and longevity.

Great quality
Got these for my grandson is a 32 waist 32 length. Besides the fact, they look amazing on him. They are very comfortable. He can slip them over other pants or just wear them as pants and pull the knee and hip guards out. They’re a beautiful pair of pants. Good quality for straight bike pants.

Shrank after washing, low crutch point, uncomfortable stitching, probably started as women's jeans.
These pants fit okay at first, but shrank further than anticipated after the first wash. They're a close fitting jean, with legs that are skinnier than a straight cut jean. The stretching portions are okay, but as time went on after wearing them a few times, they became uncomfortable. Particularly with some of the stitching sticking out behind the zipper along with the crutch point, or crotch seam as it was very low or long for a pair of mens pants. The pads included are nice, but make the legs ride up while riding, probably because they shrank so much. It's almost as if they modelled these pants on a woman, added pad inserts and sold them as 'motorcycle pants'. I don't recommend them, but if you're desperate for some riding pants, then make sure to get a few sizes larger than you usually get. UPDATE: CBTQiTom contacted me, concerned about my experience with their product. They elected to replace my motorcycle pants for free. I ordered them in black, 2 sizes larger anticipating that they'd shrink again and as predicted, they did, but now they fit great! (I prefer my pants a little loose.) No problems with the stitching. I can wear them all day comfortably without the knee pads in. If I leave the pads in, they rest just low enough that the top edge of the knee pad rests on my kneecaps while standing, which can be a little uncomfortable, but once I get on my motorcycle they're in perfect position over my knees. The hip pads can be left in all day, as they're position does not obstruct or conflict with any joints. I'm glad they contacted me about my experience and I'm happy with the results, therefore, I've bumped my rating up to 4 stars. These are all-day comfortable riding pants you can wear at the office with a decent price. They might not protect well in a slide (there's no Cordura, Kevlar, or Dyneema) but at least you can keep your joints padded with level 2 CE rated pads.

Surprisingly nice
These are actually pretty decent pants. For the price, it's hard to find something that fits well and has CE 2 armor. You might see other brands like HWK, but those are so so baggy. These are super comfy and fit well if you're thinner. They're very stretchy and the armor is a nice bonus, though the hip armor sits really quite low. The pants themselves are okay quality, out of box i noticed some loose thread ends and there's also no aramid to protect your butt. That being said, they aren't sold as aramid pants, just as denim, and the denim is very supple and thick enough. In a slide these wouldn't be the best, but they're better than normal jeans and they look great. Having ripped through aramid pants myself I really wouldn't want to go ass to grass in these, but if you're commuting in these they're really good. Just don't use them as long distance pants. One thing I didn't like as much about these is the color. The army green is very olive, hardly green at all. I thought it was brown when i pulled it out of the bag. Also, the belt loops seem incredibly flimsy. They're made like any other pants which isn't what you want from riding pants, but belt loops are pretty minor.

UPDATE: I was contacted by Customer Service to rectify the sizing issue. They explained the different materials used and offered one size up (medium) for the blue jeans. They are indeed the right size for me! I’m extremely happy with it and appreciate the customer service and quick turnaround. +++++++++ I had bought the black one first. It’s definitely the correct size. I’m 5”5, 31 waist. I got a Small. It fits nicely around the legs and waist. They need hemming but I roll them at the right length. The material used on the black is very stretchy and comfortable. I move around them easily. 5/5 Since I liked them so much, I bought a second pair. The blue (jean) one. However, though they’re the same size, the material used are not as stretchy as the black ones. They’re tight around the legs and very difficult to move. Like Skinny jeans. Had difficulty putting them on and kicking my leg over my seat. Waist is ok. Taking a while to “break” in. I’ll have to follow up at a later time with the second pair. Right now the 2nd pair are 3/5 due to the comfort and fitting.

Extremely comfortable, the length and waist are almost perfect. They are a bit tight around the legs but i do have a muscular physique. Perfect for crotch rockets but will have to get use to wearing tighter pants on the cruiser. Pads are gel material, comfortable when they are inserted. 97% cotton, hoping they stretch a bit. Overall fairly satisfied for the price
