Excellent quality. Nice weight and works great.

1 Star Customer Service on Otherwise 5 Star Product.
Beware of product support. This is my second OXO pan. Up until this purchase I was very pleased with OXO. However, a few months after my purchase, I noticed food beginning to stick in one area of the pan. Quite rapidly this got worse. The area where food sticks is about the size of an egg. In the center of that area, the coating chipped. Now, oxo is a great brand and I assumed exchanging the pan wouldn't be a problem. As per the OXO website, I filled out the form. A few days later, I got an email stating that warranty issues were actually handled by a different company and gave me their email address. Why they couldn't forward my issue to that other company I don't know. But with extra hoops to jump through like this I wonder how many issues they avoid. I forwarded my complaint. A few days later I got a reply asking for photos of the pan. Again, a step I followed when I completed the original form, but apparently didn't get forwarded with my second email. So included photos of yet pan and sent those along. Today I got a reply explaining that chipping was normal and the pan was actually safe. She completely ignored the fact that this expensive no-stick pan is sticking. The chipping happened after the pan lost its no-stick surface. So, I'm throwing away this garbage pan, and incredibly disappointed by OXO's response. Not so much about the pan, but I was truly a fan of OXO's quality and just assumed an issue like this would be met with a bit more of a sense of urgency. Clearly, OXO doesn't care.

Amazing non stick pans
These pans are 5 stars, just amazing & by far better than the non stick from W&S, which loose there non stick after 6 months. These are still like new after years of use, wipe clean, no scrubbing, well constructed. Bought more of these for our kids as gifts.

OXO 12" Pan
This is a quality pan. Frys evenly and cleans up beautifully. A medium heat is recommended for this pan and it works well. You don't need to use a real high heat, even for searing, and it's recommended that you don't for longevity . Heats up quickly. Can use in oven. Follow instructions for pan and it will serve you well. Happy with purchase.

Good but...
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I often buy OXO products because of excellent reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. Cooking ability: But for the first time, I'm dissatisfied with the pan. It is so nonstick a number of times food spills out when pan is carried to plate. The problem is a spot about 2" around, food sticks in pan. I am able to free the stuck food with some force with plastic utensil but cannot give it 5 stars. Kind of coloring my cooking experience.

Great no stick pan
This is a great no stick pan & at least as far as I can tell doesn’t have the same chemicals as other no stick pans which I opted to not get because I don’t want unhealthy chemicals in my pan. Things like that just tend to not work out well in the long run in my opinion. Research it yourself though in case I’m wrong or missed something. I put a touch of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on the pan, heat it up to a 3 or 4 on my stove then crack a few eggs on it sunny side up & they don’t stick. Eggs are my kind of litmus test for how well a no stick pan works. Scrambled probably gives a better indication, I just don’t really make em that way. As far as no stick pans go it seems like they have to be replaced every so often because they’ll eventually lose their no stick factor. That’s another reason I like this because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on pans I have to replace every so often. To make the no stick factor last longer, I recommend to wash it by hand. Personally I just rinse it with the spray nozzle in my sink or if I let it sit or think I need it I just use some soap & a towel or paper towel lol.

Non-stick...for a time.
When I first for this pan in October 2024, it was the best pan I'd ever used. Nothing would stick and it would pretty much rinse clean. I've never used anything abrasive on it nor have I ever used metal utensils. Within about 6 months, things started sticking. I don't have anything to check the temperature of the pan but maybe it got too high at some point? Don't know. I never burnt anything or left it on the flame without food. Now in August 2025, it sticks as much as any other pan I've ever used and maybe even more. Nothing is peeling and nothing is scratched. Still looks good but may even have a slight warp to it now. Will never buy OXO again. Probably never spend this much on a frying pan going forward either. Definitely do not recommend.

Following all of OXO rules, not nonstick
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? No longer non-stick. Bought and started using this about 2 months ago. I’ve followed the instructions religiously: Always use oil (avocado), only wood or silicone utensils, cook at medium or lower. Only use a soft sponge (Scrub Daddy using soft side, not scrub side). It is no longer nonstick, even with generous coating of avocado oil. When brand new, scrambled eggs slid out of pan onto plate leaving very little trace. Now I’m having to soak pan as there is a solid coating of scrambled eggs. (Oh yeah, I don’t scramble in the pan.) Did I get a dud? All of the reviews are so positive. Help!! Giving 3 stars as it worked great at the beginning.

This is the stickiest pan I've ever owned. Very disappointed. This from GreenPan support: "Fill the pan halfway with water and bring it to a simmer for about 2 minutes. Pour out the water and place the pan on a safe sturdy surface. Carefully use a Melamine sponge (Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or our Restoring Sponge) and a little plain water on the warm surface to wipe away the food or stuck on oil. This should do the trick. The restoring sponge recommended for deep cleaning is perfectly safe. Our Product Team has tested this product for safety and durability. The sponge contains pores, which when moved around your pan, enables it to grab food and oil particles. Our cookware is coated and sealed and therefore, nothing will leach into your pan. Once the deep cleaning is complete, you may wash your pan as you normally would." It did help a little.

This would be a superior product except that there is an area about 4" diameter where the nonstick coating is defective. In this area food sticks like crazy. I didn't use the pan until the 30 day period for returns expired so I now have to spent time with customer service trying to see if they will honour the warranty (a previous review had me not feeling optimistic). I'll update/adjust my rating if I'm able to get a replacement product.

Great pan and love the lid but it’s too shallow to do most of what I bought it for. Nowhere could I find the pan capacity and the pictures are misleading.
